Responsible for Operating, Maintaining, & Sanitation of Free Pack Filling Equipment to produce a Quality Product that is Right the First time.
Days and shift times vary.
Job Responsibilities:
Monitoring Production schedule to determine correct product to package, timing of changeovers and sanitation.
Performs set-up for all filling equipment for start-up and product change overs.
Obtain and analyze finished product samples, using the Foodscan, Seal Tester, or current test method.
Required to know basic Overwrap operations & assist when having issues.
Monitor & control filling operation.
Able to work effectively & efficiently with other Operators, Line Tech, & Case Packer Operator.
Assist with removal of trash & recyclables from the Filling room.
Responsible for notifying appropriate personnel to assist correcting finished product back to target.
Performs Sanitation on all Free Pack Filling Line equipment. Includes operating ACS system to clean water bath & dosing tanks, operating COP tubs, and operating CIP unit to wash Filling Circuits.
Assist with Period Cleaning during downtimes & sanitation windows.
Responsible for scraping, cleaning, and inspecting for cleanliness and damage on all Filling Equipment.
Responsible for required prestart-up checks.
Assist with R&D Trials as needed.
Communicate closely with Filling & Cooking.
Perform & document all Period Cleaning items for Filling Equipment as required.
Maintain Kraft quality standard by checking quality of seals, code dates, labels, packaging, weights, odor, color, temperature of product, etc.
Maintain machine operating condition through proper cleaning and lubrication to maximize line optimization. This includes variety of maintenance-type functions (i.e., change-over, set-up, minor maintenance and adjustments, lubrication, production programming, etc.).
Ensure housekeeping and Kraft quality standards are maintained in the work area.
Perform recordkeeping as required on manual, computer and other systems. Includes OSCAR Boards & RAIL items.
Coordinates the job duties or changes of duty during shift operations.
Responsible for correct decisions and notifying the proper personnel when there are problems.
Train new or inexperienced associates.
Maintain proper line speeds.
Actively participate as a team member.
Able to learn/demonstrate proficiency in MES applications.
Report and correct unsafe acts or conditions.
Operate material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Perform other duties as directed by Line Leader or designee.
Performs variety of maintenance-type tasks such as change-overs, set-ups, pit stops, minor maintenance and adjustments, lubrication, etc.
Accountable for the Safety, Health and Environmental systems and operational standards to ensure compliance as it is outlined in our policies/procedures and processes.
Understand and apply KHMS (Kraft Heinz Management System) practices such as 5S, centerline management, shift hand-offs, operational standard ownership/support, problem solving, etc.
Minimum Requirements:

Working Environment: Primarily indoors with heating and cooling regulated in a general production environment.

Able to acquire Fork Truck License.

Your main tasks
Operates a variety of heavy equipment and monitors processes to assure proper application of fabrication standards. Functions as a team member and contributes as much as possible to team projects.

Pass basic skills test within 30 days of first day of training - If not successfully completed within the 30 days disqualification of position. Within 6 months after completion of basic skills can start training to move to the 028 Intermediate Level

Load a coil of steel, adjust straightener, make steel alignment change. Rake scrap without tripping the safety lights
Increase/decrease amount of lubrication being applied to the steel
Coil identification, Feeder Accelerations, Lead Checks
Qualifications
High School Diploma/ GED or equivalent
Previous experience in a similar industry, Press experience preferably
Required to pass Lock out/Tag out prior to job bid
Must be Yellow Gear or obtain within the 6 months completion of basic skills.
Entry Level 017 position can only be held up to 9 months, all entry level job codes will be required to move to the level if not disqualification will occur.

Production Associate
Ideal candidates must be motivated to work in a team-orientated, fast-paced environment. This position requires individuals to perform duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards.
What's on the menu?
Understand and apply KHMS (Kraft Heinz Management System) practices such as 5S, centerline management, shift hand-offs, operational standard ownership/support, problem solving, etc.
Responsible for maintaining quality standards by checking quality of seals, code dates, labels, packaging of product, weights, odor, color, temperature of product, etc.
Responsible for accurately inserting components in cartons, taking weights, and recording data.
Responsible for ensuring supplies are used on the line.
Operate packing or filling equipment.
Recordkeeping as required on manual, computer, and other systems.
Ensures that housekeeping and Kraft quality standards are maintained in the work area.
General housekeeping duties.
Operates material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
Performs a variety of sanitation and maintenance-type functions such as change-overs, set-ups, pit stops, minor maintenance and adjustments, lubrication, etc.
Must check product and fill out quality documentation.
Follow GMP guidelines.
Professionally work as part of a team.
Must be willing to be an active participant in Safety and Continuous Improvement Teams.
Performs additional duties as directed by Team Leader and Shift Leader.
This position will be expected to complete training on upgrade and relief positions within the department.
Accountable for the Safety, Health and Environmental systems and operational standards to ensure compliance as it is outlined in our policies/procedures and processes.
