DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Storeroom Inventory / Stocking:
Examines, counts, sorts, or weighs incoming articles to verify receipt of items on requisition or invoices and conformance to specifications. Stores articles in bins, wracks, or on shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size, or type of material. Marks identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles. Distributes stock among production workers, keeping records of material issued. Stocks and labels stock in location predetermined by manager, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor-loading capacities, and required space.
Cafeteria/Records:
Compiles reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, locations changes, and refusal of shipments. Collects meal tickets and monitors the "Offer vs. Served" selections to insure that minimum requirements for selections are taken. Distributes, handles, and collects money on adult, teacher, and "A La Carte" sales. Accounts for and prepares the money for daily deposits.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
As assigned - kitchen employees. Follows established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties. Maintains confidentiality. Maintains a high level of ethical behavior as is expected of all District employees. Maintains professional growth by attending in-service and meetings as requested/required. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Greets all visitors in a friendly manner and assists them with their needs and answers telephone, takes accurate and reliable messages, routes them to appropriate staff and schedule appointment as requested. Assists with collection and organization of information about individuals through records, previous schools, transfer grades, tests, interviews and professional sources; Assists with processing student transfers to/from another school; completes family data information with proof of address; registers new students, issues computer number and assists in issuing permits and excuses to students (campuses only). Accurately writes, types, or enters information into computer to prepare correspondence or documents; copies information from one record to another. Makes copies of correspondence, records or other documents and printed materials; verifies legibility; type's labels and reports, files correspondence; records and documents; maintains records and files as assigned. Retrieves records as needed; extracts files and/or information as authorized, keeps record of material removed, and ensures that documents are returned to file in proper order. Searches for information contained in files; inserts additional data in file records; keeps files current; or removes files upon request/authorization. Complies with all record management procedures; transfers files to warehouse at end of each fiscal year. Fills official requests such as public information requests according to Public Information Act and Board Policy. Stamps, sorts and distributes incoming mail; prepares outgoing mail, addresses envelopes or packages. Maintains inventory of departmental forms and supplies. Proofreads records, forms and reports; counts, weighs, or measures material. Prepares material for distribution to staff members as instructed by Supervisor; prepares materials to be distributed with ample time. Accurately prepares/types necessary reports and/or forms as required by the Principal or Administrator and submits them on time. Verifies records and requests official documents;
Assists with obtaining instructional materials and other resources. Recognizes errors or deficiencies in source documents and takes steps to have them corrected. Prepares and files reports of accidents and injuries at establishment. Computes amounts and checks totals on report forms or bills. Prepares tapes for cataloging in library by typing labels, ensuring that all information is correct and accurate. Strives continually to promote the safety, health and comfort of students and employees in the performance of duties. Demonstrates ability to work well with students, co-workers, and administration in a positive productive manner. Adheres to District policies and guidelines. Follows established safety procedures and techniques to perform job duties. Maintains confidentiality. Maintains a high level of ethical behavior as is expected of all district employees. Department Primary Purpose: Assist principal in all LPAC required documentation for all EL students.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification: High School Diploma or GED
Experience: A minimum of two years experience in school office preferred.
Two years experience and proficient in computer and data entry skills preferred.
Knowledge/Skills: Ability to speak Bilingual-English/Spanish
Knowledge/skills of oral language development
Proficient in record keeping; general and clerical skills

Major Responsibilities and Duties:
* Review, update and maintain accurate LPAC files of all current, EL and monitored students.
* Data enter and maintain LPAC information PAC.
* Meet all deadlines for data entry and LPAC.
* Prepare PEIMS information for EL student verification and submission.
* Assist with EL student testing.
* Order Language Proficiency assessment materials.
* Assist in obtaining the following EL information from other school districts and campuses:
* Test results (STAAR, TAKS, LAS, TELPAS, etc.)
* Program Placement
* Exit Status
* Certification of Bilingual/ESL Programs
* Assessment Decisions
* Assist in providing EL student information to Principal, Bilingual/ESL Teachers and Bilingual/ESL Department.
* Gather and compile assessment data on all EL students.
* Assist in compiling EL student documentation necessary for Annual Evaluation.
* Perform other duties as assigned by campus principal that pertain to EL students.
* Follow all Work from Home Protocols when working remotely.
