Supervise subcontractors such as saw cutting, drilling and traffic control. In some projects, the area is surrounded by construction heavy equipment, excavations, tunnels, and or active construction sites that require safety training that ALL construction workers for the General Contractor are required to take. Employee is required to transport materials in a construction site as well as install instruments on poles, rooftops, bridges, and tunnels. Specialized tools are required to perform the role in the field and the ability to mount equipment using ladders and equipment (manlifts) is required. The use of these tools requires safety training to avoid injury and or death. Qualifications: Currently enrolled and or completed in a relevant degree program (geotechnical engineering, environmental science, civil engineering, etc.) - (Preferred but not required) Strong interest in geotechnical instrumentation, noise, and vibration monitoring.
