Overview of Position The Receiving Clerk is responsible for, but not limited to, receiving and examining contents of products with requisitions orders, purchase orders and invoices to verify accuracy of shipments received. Ensure all stocks in storeroom are maintained in good condition, conduct inventory as needed. Record data as weight, temperatures, prices differences, damages and discrepancies following standards and procedures for reporting to accounting and for record purposes. Incumbent should have working knowledge of MS Office products. Knowledge in ADACO software is a plus. Position requires the ability to lift, push, and pull at least 25 lbs. The Receiving Clerk reports to the Director of Purchasing. Responsibilities include maintaining all equipment, systems, and building components. Some of your responsibilities include: * Operate, repair, and maintain all pumps, boilers, motors, chillers, electrical systems, refrigeration systems, lighting, hotel appliances, and the hotel physical plant. * Paint all surfaces and equipment, make minor wall covering repairs, and minor furniture touch-ups. * Perform minor construction work, repair and maintain the lock and key systems, and replace lightbulbs, fixtures, televisions, and radios. * Lead staff (for those properties that have staff) by conducting performance evaluations, holding monthly departmental meetings, leading training on both technical and safety systems, building and maintaining your team. * Maintain open and positive relationship with the People & Culture Department. * Maintain par stocks of essential parts and associated materials and products used for operating, repairing, and maintaining the hotel. Notify your supervisor when parts are needed by using the proper requisition system or want list as appropriate, including purchasing. * Maintain accurate logs of equipment tests, such as fire alarm systems, emergency lighting, fire extinguishers, etc. Repair and preventative maintenance logs, monthly reports, daily walk reports, meter readings, etc. * Responsible for ensuring that contacts with project contractors and salesmen are conducted in a professional manner and in accordance with Kimpton Group standards. The Attendant will be responsible for using the Nordaq fresh water machine and glass bottle dish washing machine to execute these tasks. Overview of Position The Mechanic is responsible for, but not limited to, the overall operation and maintenance of equipment designated under the Management of Mandarin Oriental, Miami, including the day to day hotel operational and maintenance requirements. The incumbent will perform daily mechanical walk throughs of the chiller plant, lift stations, and pool pump room; take readings to ensure all essential mechanical equipment is working properly; perform essential services walk throughs of emergency generator and fire panel; daily walk through of hotel perimeter and banquet spaces to review electrical and light performance; sanitize areas daily with fogger; assist with guest requests; assist with de-clogging floor drains in the kitchen spaces; and additional special projects as needed such as installation of electrical outlets and light fixtures. This is an overnight position only. The Mechanic will report directly to the Engineering Supervisor and Assistant Director of Engineering. Overview of Position It is the mission and intent of this position that the incumbent will take a leading role in the Main Kitchen, supporting the Executive Sous Chef, leading and inspiring the team to create a 5 Star environment. Inspect food products when delivered from purchasing for quality. Inspect colleagues' daily mise en place to ensure that all food products are rotated and top quality. Control par levels of mise en place Approve quality standards of all dishes leaving the kitchen- temperature, allergies, presentation and flavor.
