Purpose Statement

Key Accountabilities and Outcomes
Pallet Moving
Observes all safety rules and regulations
Palletizes finished cases per specifications
Ensures that each case is properly labeled
Ensures that each case is properly packaged and sealed
Pushes and pulls large amounts of weight with the use of an electric pallet jack or hand pallet jack
Performs similar or associated duties as necessary to accomplish job objectives in an effective manner as assigned by Shift Lead
Supplies packaging materials as needed
Maintains a safe and clean work environment throughout the plant according to GMP and Safety Guidelines
Ensure product meets all Quality and GMP standards
Mixing
Operates processing equipment
Portions and scales ingredients and verifies process control point and product quality
Manages work in process
Assists Quality Assurance in obtaining samples of products
Ensures products meets specifications (i.e. weights, temperature, etc.) set by Quality Assurance
Monitors use of safety devices and equipment, general housekeeping and maintains a constant alert for hazardous conditions and practices
Operates mixing equipment according to established SOPs
May make adjustments to ensure quality and correct and consistent weights
Must complete production reports as required
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
High School Diploma or GED
Must possess basic math and computer skills, as well as good communication skills, both verbal and written
One year of experience in a food processing/manufacturing/industrial environment is a plus
Must be able to listen and follow basic instructions and work routines from superiors
Responsible for knowing and adhering to Good Manufacturing Standards
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions
Ability to complete reports and forms
Ability to understand and follow safety rules and instructions
Able to work around flour and cinnamon and other bakery ingredients as part of the daily activities
Frequently required standing, reaching, bending, kneeling and moving about the facility

As a Packer Inspector, you will: Packer provides support for the operation team by working safely, in a fast paced production warehouse environment, while inspecting product for defects and packing finished goods in correct configuration.

About the position:

As a Manufacturing Operator, your responsibilities will include:
* Work in a cleanroom environment to produce advanced therapies in a safe and quality manner.
* Coordinate production activities with Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and Plant Maintenance to facilitate on-time release of advanced therapies.
* Participate in equipment commissioning and qualification testing and process validation activities in collaboration with other departments.
* Safely work with BSL-2 materials, following site biologics safety program.

As a Production Technician, you will be responsible for the manufacturing, assembly, and/or packaging of Bioprocess Containers in a clean room environment. A Day in the Life:
Work in a production environment where you will manufacture, operate machinery, assemble tubing and connectors, package and inspect product in accordance with product blueprint and manufacturing drawings while adhering to company SOP's and WID's.
Use tools and equipment such as, but not limited to, computers, calculators, measuring tools, assembly hand tools, Bioprocess Container machinery and pallet jacks.
Following all safety requirements and Current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) requirements.
Use strong attention to detail to ensure products meet quality standards by collaborating with upstream and downstream stations to implement mutual inspection, find and correct quality errors, record, and report problems in a timely manner.
Record accurate documentation in the Production Control Documents (PCD) as the task is being performed.
Help us get better by actively participating in our PPI (Practical Process Improvements), Lean and Continuous Improvement activities including 5S activities

Primary Function
APCOM's facility in Franklin, Tennessee, is a facility that manufactures water heater components. The Production Operator will initiate manufacturing operations in accordance with customer requirements and monitor performance to optimize production processes.
Responsibilities
Operator will be responsible for the manufacturing of water heater components per department standards.
Operators will cross train on operations in each department and follow quality and safety standards.
Must be able to work with automated machinery and have the ability to perform troubleshooting tasks in order to increase machine up time.
Some areas may require the ability to read blueprints, read a tape measure, and wear specialized PPE.
Must be able to perform other duties as assigned.
