The JGM Engineering Graduate Rotational Program is a comprehensive 18-month initiative designed to provide recent engineering graduates with hands-on experience to help launch their career in structural steel fabrication. As an
Industrial Manufacturing Engineer - Fabrication
in this program, participants will gain exposure to three key areas within JGM: Shop Floor Operations, Production Control, as well as Estimating/Purchasing. The goal is to offer in-depth experience under the guidance of industry experts, preparing participants for future leadership roles within our company on the fabrication side of the business by rotating through the departments within JGM per below (not necessarily in this order).

Rotation 1: Shop Floor Engineer (6 Months)
Supervisor: Plant Superintendent
Objective:
Learn fabrication processes by working directly on the shop floor with welders, fitters, and machinists.
Key Responsibilities:
Shadow shop supervisors and team leads to understand workflow.
Monitor safety, quality, and productivity on fabrication lines.
Support equipment troubleshooting and process improvements.
Assist in implementing lean manufacturing and 5S initiatives.
Production reporting and analysis
Skills Developed:
Welding/fabrication process knowledge.
Safety management.
Equipment utilization.
Quality control.
Outcome:
Develop the ability to understand shop floor operations and identify opportunities for improving safety, quality, and efficiency.

Objective:
Gain expertise in scheduling, material flow, and process optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and monitor production schedules.
Track work orders, shop loading, and throughput.
Coordinate with supervisors to minimize bottlenecks.
Utilize ERP/MRP systems Tekla and Spectrum
Equipment programming.
Skills Developed:
Scheduling.
Shop logistics.
Data-driven decision making.
ERP tools.
Outcome:
Gain the capability to effectively manage production schedules and optimize workflow across the shop.

Learn the business side of fabrication through cost estimating and vendor engagement.

Develop cost models for fabrication projects.
Source vendors, negotiate pricing, and issue POs.
Collaborate with project teams to align procurement with schedules.
Skills Developed:
Cost analysis.

Outcome:
Build the foundation to prepare accurate cost estimates and manage vendor relationships that support project success.

Education & Requirements
Must have a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in one of the following disciplines: Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Civil/Structural Engineering.
Experience in steel fabrication or manufacturing is a plus but not a requirement.
Must be a critical thinker and problem solver.
Must be available to work in a high-paced, dynamic work environment.

Purpose
The Process & Service Engineer is responsible for technical process design, including generating P&ID's, Process Flow Diagrams for pneumatic conveying and Deduster Systems. Sometimes commissioning or servicing of conveying and / or deduster system will be required. This position will report to the Process Engineering Manager and is located in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.
Duties and Responsibilities
Produce AutoCAD Plant 3D models, 2D drawings, layout's, P&ID's, process flow diagrams and bill of materials based on written and/ or verbal instructions
All drawings, datasheets, manuals and other technical documents to be completed in metric and imperial units
Ensure that technical documents provided are in line with specifications and other contract requirements
Ensure that documents provided are delivered with the required quality and within the time frame required
Maintain a clear and professional communication with our customers, our vendors and internally, this include as a minimum an acknowledgement of emails or phone calls/ voice messages within 24 hours
In short take full ownership of the tasks assigned to you
Sizing and selection of equipment in accordance with specification
Participate at Kick-Off meetings internally, and when required as well externally to fully understand project and delivery requirements
Keep project files organized according to Pelletron filing system at all times;
Resolve all customer complaints related to assigned projects in a timely and cost-effective manner;
Provide sales support as required;
Provide start-up and commissioning services for assigned projects;
Travel as required to vendor and customer locations (Pelletron as global company will require occasionally international travel, depending on project requirements)

Qualifications and Work Experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering (or related field);
Five (5) years of related experience and/or training in engineered systems, or equivalent combination of education and experience, ideally with pneumatic conveying and dedusting systems
Experience and proven ability to use AutoCAD 2D, Plant 3D software is mandatory. Experience in use of Microsoft Office Products is required.
Ability to read, interpret, and develop documents such as purchase orders, contracts, specifications, engineering reports, blueprints, office procedures, parts lists, and price book;
Ability to write routine correspondence;
Speak effectively, both one-on-one and in groups with vendors, customers, and employees.
Experience with SAP will be a plus

* Initiate Tool Room work order requests as needed to make mold improvements to address processing issues.
* Evaluate the set-up sheets and process change sheets during production runs. Take action as required to ensure most current documents are being used and update database as required.
* Complete projects as assigned, meeting cost and timetable objectives.

This role bridges Product Development and Production-ensuring that ACT's most advanced technologies can be built efficiently, reliably, and with exceptional quality.
What You'll Do
In this role, you will directly influence how new thermal products move from concept to repeatable, scalable production. You will:
New Product Introduction & Process Development
Lead smooth transitions of products from Product Development to Manufacturing
Translate engineering designs and customer requirements into robust processes, tooling, and documentation
Develop and improve fabrication processes, workflows, and material flow
Tooling, Procedure & Documentation
Design and build custom tooling, fixtures, and jigs that enable high-quality manufacturing
Create procedures, travelers, and work instructions to ensure consistency and compliance
Support technicians and production staff with clear direction and engineering expertise
Production Support & Continuous Improvement
Analyze cycle times, floor layouts, and production data to improve throughput and efficiency
Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and identify cost, quality, or process improvements
Interact directly with suppliers, generating and approving purchase orders as needed
Evaluate test results, quality data, and customer requirements to ensure compliance
This is a hands-on role-expect regular interaction with technicians, parts, processes, and equipment. You won't sit behind a desk all day.

Requirements:What You Bring
B.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
Proficiency in CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
Experience with mechanical inspection and understanding of GD&T
Ability to analyze data, processes, and workflows
Strong communication, documentation, and collaboration skills
Experience with LabVIEW and Excel-based databases is a plus
Must be a U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 (due to ITAR regulations)

What You'll Do
As a Manufacturing Engineer at M.H. Eby Inc, you'll play a critical role in our aluminum fabrication operations. Your primary responsibilities will include:
