Position Description:
This position is responsible for entry level non-skilled general labor while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.
This position starts at $16.10 -$16.55 based on position with a $1.00 shift differential for 3rd Shift.
Hours:
3rd shift: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM
Responsibilities:
Applicants will be considered for openings in any department such as the Flour or Corn department.
Responsible for tasks such as stacking tacos and tortillas off a production line, placing bags of product in a box, making boxes, and maintaining good housekeeping in the area.
The Team Member must be willing to products off the production line, placing products in a box.
The Team Member must be able to make a box and maintain good housekeeping in the area.
The Team Member will take and pass various tests regarding safety and food safety practices.
Must be available to work overtime and weekends.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: The successful candidate(s) must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.
The Team member must be willing to lift 20lbs occasionally and hold 5lbs regularly.

This position ensures safe handling, proper organization, and damage-free packaging supporting efficient warehouse flow and on-time delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
* Production of quality material with proper identification and marking of steel sections.
* Set-up and operation of the bander, insta-sheeter, and/or corner board along with correct identification of various products produced according to run sheets.
* Must be willing and able to work with and back-up the stacker when needed.
* Request appropriate materials from the warehouse and stocking bins.
* Accurately identifying, counting, and labeling the material by customer to ensure orders are shipped in a timely manner.
* Ensure the working area is safe, clean and organized.
* Capable of overhead lifting, packaging, and banding all materials used in this area.
* Perform any other duties or special projects as assigned.
Position Responsibilities & Requirements:
* Ability to accurately follow verbal and written instructions.
* Basic math skills with ability to properly read a tape measure.
* Must have basic computer skills.
* The job requires standing throughout the entire shift. Short distance walking of 5-15 feet on a periodic basis during the shift.
* The job requires frequent lifting and stacking of banded door panels to various levels. Maximum required individual lifting limit is 45lbs and 50+lbs for team lift.
* Pushing of carts is often required with occasional pulling; A force of 50lbs is required to move a loaded cart; Pushing over 50 lbs. requires two people.
* Must be able to grip small objects to cut rubber and maneuver hands/wrists in consistent repetitive motion.
