The Simulation Operations Technologist ("Sim Tech") supports and assists the Director of IPE and Simulation Education Center ("Director") in the management, logistics, scheduling, and organization of simulation events at Baptist Health Sciences University. Skills / Qualifications: * Read and write notes on the production report. * Writing must be legible using proper spelling and grammar, all communications must be in English. * Read and follow Standard Operating Procedures and Hose Specifications according to batch cards and run conditions. * Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide. * Must be able to drive a forklift. Physical Requirements: * Handle machine parts weighing up to 50 pounds. * Move and control reels of garden hose weighing up to 1200 pounds. Body strength and stamina must be sufficient to perform these duties 50 times per shift. * Remove tooling and properly reassemble using basic hand tools. Basic motor skills are required to perform the necessary mechanical aspects of this job in an efficient manner. * Tolerate summer heat of 15 degrees above outside temperatures. * Writing must be legible using proper spelling and grammar. * Body agility to enable bending, stooping and lifting hose, tools and other items needed to perform the job. Body strength and stamina must be sufficient to perform these duties 25 times per shift. 1. MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB The Quality Technician I is responsible for ensuring that Raw materials and finished products meet established quality standards. This includes inspecting incoming materials, verifying in-process production, auditing final products, and maintaining compliance with the Quality Management System (QMS).
