Manufacturing Specialist
Are you a hands-on professional who thrives in a dynamic, high-volume manufacturing environment? Do you have an uncompromising commitment to quality? We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Specialist to join our growing team. In this role, you will be the heartbeat of our production floor, responsible for operating state-of-the-art CNC machinery and, most importantly, acting as the primary gatekeeper for part quality.
This is not a typical button-pushing role. You will be an active participant in the manufacturing process, where your primary mission is to ensure every single part that comes off the machine is perfect. The pace is fast, the standards are high, and your contribution is critical to our success. If you have a keen eye for detail and a sense of urgency, we want to talk to you.
Core Responsibilities
Champion of Quality: Meticulously inspect finished parts using precision measurement tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges) to ensure they meet strict engineering specifications and tolerances (e.g., ±0.002"). You will be responsible for confirming, marking, and documenting that all parts are in spec before they move to the next stage.
High-Paced CNC Operation: Efficiently operate one or more CNC mill-turn machines in a fast-paced production environment. This includes loading raw material, unloading finished components, monitoring the machine's cycle, and making minor offset adjustments as needed to maintain quality.
Urgent & Accurate Execution: Work with a sense of urgency to meet ambitious production targets without ever compromising on safety or quality. Your ability to manage time effectively and maintain focus is essential.
Problem Identification: Serve as the first line of defense. Immediately identify and flag any part variations, defects, or machine process deviations to engineering and management. Your sharp eyes prevent small issues from becoming large problems.
Process Improvement: Follow detailed work instructions while actively looking for opportunities to improve efficiency, safety, and quality. We value team members who think critically and suggest better ways to work.
Finishing & Maintenance: Perform hand-finishing and deburring tasks with a high degree of precision. Conduct routine operator-level machine maintenance and maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area according to 5S principles.
Required Qualifications
Experience: A minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, including hands-on operation of CNC machines. While we are not seeking a CNC Programmer or Machinist, you must be comfortable with the fundamentals of machine operation, tool changes, and basic controls.

Mechanical Aptitude: A strong, intuitive understanding of how machines and tools work.
Physical Requirements: Ability to routinely lift and load materials up to 40lbs.
Attitude: A positive, solutions-oriented, "can-do" attitude and a commitment to teamwork.
