Summary/Objective:
The HVAC Start Up / Commissioning Technician will support field trade teams and/or third party contractors and oversee and direct maintenance and/or personnel and processes critical to the safe and efficient completion of tasks. Must have ability to effectively survey any repairs needed, create a repair scenario and effectively implement scenario. Background in Controls or HVAC.
Essential Functions:
* Assist in the Set up and implementation of HVAC systems, starting them up and successfully programing them
* Work with the multiple clients to schedule and successfully perform assigned tasks
* Supervise tasks and projects assigned
* Investigate, evaluate, and recommend changes and modifications to improve safety
* Maintain inspection, repair, and preventative maintenance records
* Manage employee time records and daily activity reports
* Participate in safety inspections, job safety analyses, and safety meetings
* Testing of new equipment / repair equipment to design specifications
* Performs other duties as assigned
Supervisory Responsibility: Sometimes
Required:
* 5+ years of experience in the HVAC trade field; or equivalent combination of vocational training and experience
* Previous experience in an operational and customer facing role
* In-depth knowledge of two or more of the following disciplines: plumbing systems, electrical systems, HVAC Cooling and ducted air systems, general construction practices, generator systems, and controls systems
* Excellent building services knowledge
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
* Must be able to multi-task, work with minimal supervision, follow written and oral instructions, show attention to detail, and demonstrate problem-solving skills
* Must adhere to all company policy and procedures
* Must be available to work assigned schedules

About the role
The Senior Metrology Technician is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, reliability, and compliance of measurement systems and calibrated equipment within an Oral Solid Dose (OSD) pharmaceutical environment. This role focuses on calibration program management, equipment performance verification, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of metrology practices. The Technician collaborates with production, quality, and maintenance teams to minimize downtime, maintain compliance, and support safe and efficient operations.
Your responsibilities
Metrology & Calibration
* Perform and document calibration of instruments, temperature, pressure, humidity sensors, weigh scales, load cells, airflow devices, pH, conductivity, TOC, and measurement systems in accordance with GMP and industry standards.
* Analyze calibration data to identify trends, deviations, and potential equipment reliability issues.
* Lead or support root cause investigations related to measurement inaccuracies or calibration failures.
* Maintain calibration standards for compliance and job readiness.
* Write calibration specifications and maintain database.
* Recommend technical solutions to improve measurement reliability and extend equipment lifecycle.
Maintenance & Equipment Support
* Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities for measurement and monitoring equipment.
* Develop calibration job plans including required tools, standards, and safety requirements.
* Coordinate with maintenance staff and contractors to ensure timely completion of calibration and verification tasks.
* Track and report calibration KPIs such as compliance rates, overdue calibrations, and equipment performance.

The Quality Technician will be responsible for ensuring all cabinets and components meet company and customer quality standards throughout the production process. Job Description
We have an immediate opening for a high level quality technician to work in the electronics work group in its Wilson, NC facility. This position is from 12pm - 8:30pm.
Duties will include:
-Troubleshooting circuit boards to component level.
-Working knowledge of electronic test and measurement equipment.
-Familiar with operating automated test equipment.
-Read, comprehend and follow technical document, router & work instructions, blue prints, production drawings, schematics and sample assemblies.
-Able to receive verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
-Work in a lab / manufacturing environment.
-On occasion, this position will work overtime and extended hours.
-Due to test equipment constraints most likely split shift & off-shifts is required. This may mean working odd shifts and also weekends.
-Provide data analysis to identify trends, assist in defect and turn back investigations, provide overall QA support.
-Support Quality Clinic activities repair, review and disposition
-Utilize Relentless Root Cause Analysis (RRCA) methodologies to resolve escapes and obtain corrective action for non-conformances.
-Participate in Continuous Improvement Team (CIT) and SRR programs.
-Preparation of Failure Analysis reports of troubleshooting returned parts.
-Provide expertise in Quality Assurance and process improvement tools and methods to targeted functions of the organization to support them in their continuous improvement activities.
-Maintain accurate records of assembly work and inspections performed.
*Education / Certifications
High School Diploma or GED is required for this position with 3 years minimum experience in the repair, maintenance and operation of aerospace electronic equipment and/or working in an Engineering Lab environment on electronic equipment.
*Experience / Qualifications
Three to five (3) years minimum experience in the repair, maintenance and operation of aerospace electronic equipment and/or working in an Engineering Lab environment on electronic equipment is required.
Candidate must be able to complete and get certified in IPC-610 or J-Standard Solder Certified within 90 days of starting.
Basic experience with MS Office.
- Fine Pitch soldering experience desired.
- Familiarity with National Instruments PXI Chassis or similar modular test equipment systems a plus
- This position requires mechanical ability, manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination to build various assemblies using drawings and instructions.
- Candidate must be able to use various types of hand tools.
This position will most likely work 12pm - 8:30pm.
SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS
3 years of maintenance, quality or repair experience in aerospace electronic equipment or eng lab
J Standard certified in the past
Ability to get J Standard Solder Certified within 90 days of hire
Ability to work 12pm - 8:30pm.
IDEAL CANDIDATE
This person has experience with troubleshooting and repairing circuit boards so that they can work in the quality function to support the organization. They will have worked with test equipment in the past and have a desire to solve manufacturing problems and help them reach root cause. This person could ideally teach the J Standard soldering course in the future as well for our site.
IDEAL CANDIDATE SHOULD HAVE WORKED FOR THE FOLLOWING COMPANY(IES):
Anywhere that electronic circuit boards are made or repaired.
