The Production Operator is responsible for performing several manufacturing functions and supporting plant operations in the production area.

Performs typical production functions to include operating equipment, moving material, verifying dimensions, and required quality inspections.

Detects and reports defective materials or questionable conditions to the Production Supervisor/Manager.
Performs operator level Preventative Maintenance, Checks and Services on machines as required.
May operate a forklift if certified to do so.

Preforms basic machine operations to include operating machines, stacking raw materials, handling finished product cases, preforming quality inspections and making minor machine adjustments.
Monitors the flow of outgoing finished goods and corrects any disturbance in the flow of those goods.
Cleans equipment and line continually throughout the shift and maintains a clean safe work area.
Expedites repairs to the line working with maintenance as necessary.
Keeps daily records of downtime and machine operations.
Follows SOPs for all operations.
Maintains a clean, orderly and safe area at all times.

Required Qualifications
