Specific aircraft maintenance experience required includes: coating surfaces of aircraft with paint, lacquer, epoxy, resin or other material, using brushes, rollers, spray guns and other devices; removing old paint from aircraft; using liquid paint remover and scraper; preparing surfaces with sandpaper and steel wool; applying acid solution or using steel wool to prepare aluminum surfaces to insure that paint adheres to surface; masking and covering portions of surfaces not to be painted; and painting insignia, letters or numerals on aircraft surface, using stencils. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: one-year aircraft maintenance. Task Requirements: Perform organizational and intermediate level (O/I) Low Observable Aircraft Structural Maintenance (LOASM) on B-2 aircraft Back shop component repairs including manufacture and fabriacation of parts IAW drawings Corrosion management treatments Preparation and application of coatings on B-2, T-38 and AGE/SE. Comply with published technical data, engineering dispositions and unit procedures Ensure good house keeping and FOD free environment Perform other duties as assigned Preferred Qualifications: Five or more years of Organizational/Intermediate B-2 LOASM experience Basic Qualifications: MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: one-year aircraft maintenance Must be able to work 1st, 2nd or 3rd shift as required IAW PWS Must be able to obtain a Common Access Card (CAC) and shall be required to pass the equivalent of a trustworthy National Agency Check plus Written Inquiries with Credit Check (NACI), IAW DTM-08-003 “Next Generation Common Access Card (CAC) Implementation Guidance”, or latest guidance, at no additional cost to the Government, prior to being allowed to work under any task order PWS. Must have Secret clearance Compensation $39.58/hour Other Compensation Employees will receive a minimum health and welfare fringe benefit of $2.65 for every hour paid up to 40 hours per week.
