This position performs skilled preventative and corrective maintenance activities, in an industrial setting, related to the inspection, repair, and maintenance of water and wastewater treatment and production equipment which may include: ozone generators, chemical equipment, air compressors, valves, piping, motors pumps and various rotating assemblies. Section 2 - Major Responsibilities Maintains various water and wastewater treatment, purification and production related equipment and facilitates mechanical repairs necessary to keep equipment operating in an efficient manner. Coordinates with water and wastewater operations personnel to assure critical equipment is operational. May be asked to assist other departments with various task during emergency repairs or routine maintenance. Performs all routine preventative maintenance tasks as specified in the equipment operations and maintenance manuals. Performs routine repair and preventative maintenance tasks on other equipment as directed. Observes safe work practices through proper use of safety equipment and procedures including permit required confined space entry and lock out tag out. Section 5 - Environmental Factors, Activity Levels and Equipment This position requires continuous physical exertion often of a strenuous nature. Lifts or pulls/pushes 50 pounds on a daily basis and up to 100 pounds on a weekly basis in order to repair and service pumps, motors and machinery while using various hand tools and equipment. Working conditions include exposure to high voltage areas, weather, odor, noise, chemical hazards, gases and dust. Hand and power tools including drill press and lathe, welding equipment, emergency lighting equipment, safety equipment and crane.

Boilermaker will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing boilers, tanks, pressure vessels, and other large containers and vessels in industrial settings. They will use a variety of hand and power tools, welding equipment, and metalworking machinery to install and repair structural components, as well as demolish and remove old equipment. The Boilermaker will also be required to work at heights, in confined spaces, and be able to work with a respirator. Duties and responsibilities: • Install, maintain, and repair boilers, tanks, pressure vessels, and other large containers and vessels in industrial settings • Install and repair structural components using hand and power tools, welding equipment, and metalworking machinery • Demolish and remove old equipment • Use chain falls, come-along, and other rigging equipment • Know all crane/rigging hand signals • Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals • Perform quality control checks to ensure that work meets industry and company standards • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and procedures Requirements Essential qualifications: Five years of experience as a boilermaker or similar experience Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools, welding equipment, and metalworking machinery Experience using chain falls, come-along, and other rigging equipment Knowledge of all crane/rigging hand signals Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals Experience with associated power tools Experience with heavy equipment operation and maintenance Ability to work at heights, in confined spaces, and be able to work with a respirator Authorized to work in the United States Working conditions: The Boilermaker will work in a variety of physical environments, including construction sites, manufacturing plants, and refineries. The Automotive Service Technician is responsible for performing vehicle repair and maintenance work as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.
