Position Summary:
The Electrical / Mechanical Engineering Senior Manager leads the strategic planning, design, and implementation of electrical infrastructure that powers a nationwide premium healthcare system, ensuring reliability, innovation, and operational excellence. In this role, you will provide technical leadership and strategic oversight for all assigned CVS Corporate Properties. You are responsible for reviewing and optimizing electrical power systems for new facility builds and critical projects, ensuring safe, reliable, and efficient operations. You will develop and maintain strategic relationships within the organization, offering expert guidance and decision support for corporate projects and key initiatives. You will manage and execute multi-million-dollar expense and capital budgets for both owned and leased facilities, ensuring compliance with all portfolio-wide initiatives, as well as local, state, and federal regulations.
Additional Responsibilities Will Include:
Overseeing the design, review, and implementation of electrical systems for new construction and major renovation projects.
Providing technical support and troubleshooting for existing critical facility electrical infrastructure.
Developing and managing annual capital and expense budgets, ensuring projects are delivered on time and within budget.
Ensuring all electrical systems comply with applicable codes, regulations, and industry best practices.
Leading incident response for critical and controllable electrical incidents, including root cause analysis and corrective action planning.
Overseeing the installation and commissioning of new equipment, ensuring operational readiness and compliance with design specifications.
Collaborating with internal stakeholders and external vendors to drive project success and continuous improvement.
Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of emerging technologies and regulatory changes impacting electrical design and facility operations.
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in electrical infrastructure engineering, construction, or a related field.
Proven track record managing large-scale electrical projects in a corporate or critical facility environment.
Strong knowledge of electrical codes, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience with critical facility electrical infrastructure (e.g., data centers or similar).
Hands-on experience working with critical electrical infrastructure such as UPS systems, generators, or switchgear.
Excellent communication, leadership, and project management skills.
Education:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or commensurate work experience in the related field.

Key Functions
Initiate, prepare, review, develop, track, and distribute submittals and RFIs through Procore.
Track file documentation (e.g., correspondence, reports, etc.) in Procore daily to follow-up on and/or summarize project issues, agreements, communications with owners and subcontractors, etc.
Reconcile paperwork with the Owner's Field Rep to ensure accurate and proper completion of timesheets.
Engage the work crews in conversation on both the technical and safety aspects of the job.

Conduct daily log entries. Ensure progress photos are taken, cut sheets, field drawing marked up, T&E sheets verified/signed (if any), and constructed field measurements are completed daily.
Interface with Cost Engineer to track invoices and receipts for field purchase orders and maintain field purchase order files and documentation.
Coordinate fabrication and delivery of materials with project CPM, Project Manager, and Superintendent.
Interface with Cost Engineer to code and approve PO invoices, coordinating with Accounts Payable and Project Support team.
Review and submit quantities to owner for approval.
Assist the Project Manager in budget analysis and cost projections.
Assist in management of all subcontractors.
Gather and submit closeout documentation.
Assist Project Manager with projections and costs to complete.
Desired Qualifications
3+ years of relevant experience, preferably Civil Engineering.
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering preferred.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and standard computer applications.

Our mechanical team is involved with designing the mechanical systems, calculating space heat and cooling loads, determining and selecting equipment sizes, and vetting and selecting suitable vendors, suppliers, and sub-contractors. Mechanical Engineers will have technical responsibility for scoping, performing, and delivering multiple concurrent project assignments. You will be a member of our mechanical department and your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
Responsibilities
Perform heating and cooling load calculations.
Perform code reviews for HVAC/plumbing/fire protection designs.
Perform mass energy balance calculations.
Perform drainage and line loss calculations.
Perform flow test (hydrant or other) analysis.
Sanitary design considerations (layouts, process exhaust).
PID Drafting.
Bid packages: equipment and sub-contractor - bid list, scope of work, milestone schedule.
Create mechanical schedules.

About You
Junior, or Senior pursuing a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related field.
HVAC and/or Utilities design experience is a plus.
Familiarity with heat transfer, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics
Experience working with computer operations for engineering design programs and computer aided drafting is preferable (AutoCAD, Revit, etc.).
Understanding of the fundamental basics of performing calculations in areas of energy, drainage, line loss, etc.
Past Mechanical experience in food and beverage, pharmaceutical, or other sanitary environments is a plus.
Have a motivated and results orientated attitude.
Willing to travel to project sites - 25%

Role and responsibilities
As a Summer Intern in Mechanical Design Engineering, you will participate in developing portions of the lithography system and/or associated tooling. You will work on sub-systems involving robotics, mechatronics, precision mechanics, and/or opto-mechanics. Precision machine design at ASML starts with understanding the functional requirements and deriving specifications. You will collaborate with design engineers and system architects in a multidiscipline project team to develop concepts, perform engineering analysis, build and test prototypes, generate detailed CAD designs, create engineering drawings, partner with suppliers, and support system integration and testing.
This position is located on-site in Wilton, CT. It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation.
Education

Experience
