The Facilities Engineer focuses on reducing scope 1 and 2 emissions through the deployment of novel technologies and strategies. This position supports EPA and RRC emissions compliance for brownfield operations, regulatory compliance, and construction of regulated and unregulated pipelines. This position would support brownfield developments by conducting Root Cause Analyses (RCAs) of failures associated with fires and fugitive emissions. Job Duties and Responsibilities: Include but are not limited to: Adhere to all applicable codes, standards, and regulations from ASME 31.3, 31.8, API 12F, etc. Develop technical design packages to document sound engineering logic and standards being applied to a project. Develop and maintain standard mechanical engineering drawings and specifications. Support brownfield assets through failure meetings. Inform leadership team of issues that pose a risk to meeting critical production dates. Facilitate communication among key project stakeholders. Attend meetings with regulatory and outside regulatory partners to ensure Diamondback maintains regulated/unregulated pipeline compliance. Participate in quarterly reviews of projects with significant budget-to-estimate variances. Participate in recurring meetings with Completions to support pipeline NG fuel requirements for E-frac. Participate in recurring meetings with Facilities Engineering and Planning/Scheduling teams to ensure the construction schedule is supported. Monitor project specific field estimates, actuals, AFE budgets, and cash out. Develop AFEs for leadership approval. Prepare bid documents for capital projects within assigned scope. Support the development and maintenance of financial KPIs to inform the team of past and future performance. Support training initiatives by ensuring Diamondback is up to date on the latest technologies and strategies. Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2-6 years of Engineering experience. Degree in Petroleum, Mechanical, Chemical, or Civil Engineering. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Maintain a valid driver's license to include a safe driving record satisfactory to the company. Preferred Qualifications: Adaptable, trustworthy, and proactive-able to solve complex problems, maintain high-quality work, and collaborate effectively across teams. Strong communication, relationship-building, and a constructive mindset are essential, along with the ability to work independently and continuously learn. The Application Engineer is responsible for supporting customer needs by managing all aspects of project materials customer orders and estimates. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: * Size and select equipment, review specifications, and obtain costs to complete the inquiry. * Complete all equipment data sheets, provide VDDR's, schedules, equipment cut sheets, data sheets, spare parts, and product data. * Work with vendors on special pricing, review application with salesman, customer, drafting/engineering, and provide quotations. (using Syteline and Microsoft Word) * Create and enters quote for sales representative to issue to customer unless directed otherwise and validate customers account information. * Generates progress billing dates and amounts per line/order. * AE goes into each Job Order created for the CO, then creates all of the Operations, enters approximate labor hours/fixed schedule, has long lead items created, orders long lead items, makes item creation forms for items not currently in system. * Provides ALL cut sheets and data for every major piece of equipment in the unit (motors, pumps, valves, compressors, dryers, generators, RV's, PCV's, Filter vessels, tanks, strainers, etc.), * Builds project schedule that timelines from time of receipt, to drawing schedule, to equipment arrival at PSI, to fabrication including all services, to testing, to final assembly, to shipment. * Purchases 80-90% of all equipment once loaded for all job orders. * Partners with Purchasing/Expediting group to ensure timely deliveries and put customer O&M Books together for job orders. Also, partners with Planners for scheduling shop floor deliveries. * Reviews all BOM's and approve them and drawings for construction. * Partners with vendors on timing for projects. * Travel to customer locations for sales and project presentations. * Submits data sheets to engineering firms/customers for review on engineered projects. * Schedules all testing for final completion. * Schedule/plan and facilitate meetings with customers, vendors, and various company departments. * Other duties, as assigned.
