Key Functions
Initiate, prepare, review, develop, track, and distribute submittals and RFIs through Procore.
Track file documentation (e.g., correspondence, reports, etc.) in Procore daily to follow-up on and/or summarize project issues, agreements, communications with owners and subcontractors, etc.

Interface with Cost Engineer to code and approve PO invoices, coordinating with Accounts Payable and Project Support team.
Review and submit quantities to owner for approval.
Assist the Project Manager in budget analysis and cost projections.
Assist in management of all subcontractors.
Gather and submit closeout documentation.
Assist Project Manager with projections and costs to complete.
Desired Qualifications
3+ years of relevant experience, preferably Civil Engineering.
Bachelor's degree in civil engineering preferred.
Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office and standard computer applications.

Role Overview
As a MechanicalEngineering Intern at REGENT, you'll support the development of structural, mechanical, and electromechanical systems for our seagliders - vehicles that blend aerospace performance with marine durability. You'll collaborate with experienced engineers across mechanical, electrical, and systems disciplines to help design components, support integration activities, and contribute to bringing real flight hardware to life.

Support the design and layout of mechanical and electromechanical systems in CAD (NX preferred)

POSITION SUMMARY
The Project Engineer will apply engineering techniques and provide engineering services in the design, specification, construction and start-up of new and improved production process, equipment, buildings and support systems. Coordinate and direct installation of equipment and services with equipment suppliers, service contractors, operations and maintenance personnel.
Support start-up of manufacturing processes and equipment including transitioning of responsibilities to Operations after project scope has been met.
Ensure the accurate and timely processing of purchase orders, invoices, cost and expenditure accounting and tracking data and other financial records for Project Engineering activities.
Ongoing Operational Support (20%):
Develop work instructions and provide for the documented training of operators and maintenance personnel on all new and improved equipment and support systems implemented and assist in the design of preventive and corrective maintenance programs and spare parts inventories.
Identify, develop and implement process improvement initiatives that reduce waste and non-value added activities.
Manages Effectiveness (OEE); production efficiencies, yields and rates. Handles the most complex issues and problems and refers only the most difficult and complex issues to higher-level staff.

Education and Experience:

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Regularly schedules and assigns work to others.
Provides technical assistance as required and conducts a follow-up inspection on all work assignments.

Records relevant events and facts concerning power plant operations and maintenance.
Takes and records gauge and meter readings, including the amount of electricity produced by each generator and power received from the utility company.
Maintains and monitors air conditioning tower water levels and operating conditions, adds chemicals to monitor harmful bacteria and viruses conditions and to prevent equipment corrosion.
Maintains machinery history logs and records such as time worked on projects and employee attendance.

QUALIFICATIONS: BASIC KNOWLEDGE:
Minimum of two years Associates Degree or equivalent in mechanical, electrical or related discipline.

Requires Stationary Operating Engineer's License from the City of Providence.
