Responsibilities:
As a MechanicalEngineer at a Marathon refinery, you can expect to become familiar with industry codes and best practices, build critical thinking skills, and gain an understanding of how all engineering disciplines work together as a cohesive team. You will also gain knowledge of various aspects of a refinery by working with a team of professionals who run a specific portion of the refining process. The majority of MechanicalEngineering co-ops and interns enter into the following positions:
Area Refining Engineer/Project Engineers develop and use project management skills to create project scopes, estimates, and schedules. Once a project is developed and approved, you, as the project manager, will oversee the design effort and assist in the construction process. MPC will provide training and educational opportunities to help you develop your knowledge of other engineering disciplines. We are committed to developing engineers into professional project managers who can successfully manage projects of all sizes.
Reliability Engineers support the refinery's Maintenance Department through design and development of equipment related improvements. Such improvements include root cause failure analysis, optimization of maintenance programs in rotating equipment (pumps, compressors, etc.), and troubleshooting fixed equipment (refinery pressure vessels, heat exchangers, piping systems, etc.). Reliability Engineers will also be continuously challenged to find new technology in design, materials and repair methods to achieve refinery goals of longer running times at lower costs.
Qualifications:

Substation Design Engineer

Role: Production AssociateLocation: Troy, OH 45373, USADuration is approx.: Long term CTHAvailability: 1st shift: 7:00am - 3:00pm 2nd shift : 3:00pm - 11:00pm 3rd shift: 11:00pm - 7:00am 12hrs shift: 7:00pm - 7:00amPay rate: $11/hr ( for normal working 8 hrs. ) (overtime $16.50/hr)

• Assembly OR Break Parts• Following general safety guide lines• Bend stoop and kneel• Keep pace of production line• Wear appropriate PPE• Assembles smaller components onto larger components.• Inspects parts for quality.• Detects and reports defective materials to supervisor.• Conducts machine operation and safety checks on prescribed intervals.• Performs general clean-up and organisation of work area (SCORE- Safety, Cleanliness, Organisation, Responsiveness, and Efficiency).• Other duties as assigned to maintain production.
Role: ASSEMBLER/ PRESS OPERATOR-STAMPING/ WARE HOUSE OPERATOR/ MATERIAL HANDLER/ MACHINE OPERATOR

Duration is approx.: Long Term
Pay rate: $12/hr
Shift Availability: 12hrs Shift 5AM-5PM
Note: You need to work 5 days a week with overtime work
Job Description:
· Assembly OR Break Parts
· Standing Max 90% Shift
· Following general safety guide lines
· Bend stoop and kneel
· Keep pace of production line
