Ensures that lab reports, x-ray and other information are in patient's records. Arranges for age-specific patient testing and admissions. Post test and examination results. Assists patient and family regarding medications, treatments or other educational needs. Maintains current working knowledge of managed care plan requirements to assist with managed care referrals pre-certification requirements or laboratory reference testing. Schedules appointments and/or assist with referrals as needed. Utilized learned computer skills to view schedule, assign appointments, and search patient demographics.
