This is a wonderful opportunity to gain on the job training and experience in our Teaching Health Center. Purpose This medical assistant will be working both as a Endoscopy Technician and as a Medical Assistant in our Family Medicine Practice. In The Endoscopy Technician part of the roll you will be assisting with delegated tasks of direct and indirect patient care under the supervision of the Procedures Nursing Manager. The Endoscopy Technician is responsible for the decontamination, cleaning, processing, high level disinfection and or terminal sterilization of flexible endoscopes and ancillary equipment following established infection control practices.
