DESCRIPTION
The Licensed Mental Health Clinician (LPC, LMFT, or LCSW) will assist individuals, groups, and families through the counseling relationship by working through their presenting problems, defining their counseling goals, and developing action plans to resolve lifes challenges. The Licensed Mental Health Clinician is part of an integrated team of administrative and clinical peers who provide professional, and confidential counseling services with a distinctively Christian approach. Provides client counseling services to a varied population of children, adolescents, adults, families, couples, and groups
Delivers case management services

Ability to practice active listening skills to best react and understand how new information can impact current and future problem-solving and decision-making.
Ability to use appropriate training, instructional methods, and techniques/procedures based upon the situation and current qualifications.
Ability to effectively communicate via written and verbal communication.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide community-based services to include psychosocial rehabilitation and individual therapy. Some hybrid work across programs, such as mental health skill-building, intensive in-home, and crisis services may be required

Responsible for the development and implementation of Individual treatment interventions as applicable for specific service area assignments.

Engage in Care Coordination with other staff and community service providers to ensure the appropriateness of treatment modalities and services being provided.
Maintain compliance with all funding source regulations, rules, and documentation requirements to ensure timely approval of all service authorizations and re-authorizations for our clients.
Conduct diagnostic assessments and intakes as authorized and supervised by a licensed clinician.
Provide weekly and monthly clinical supervision to QMHPs to assist with improving quality of care provided
Assist with crisis coordination and related clinical support, to include the potential for 24/7 emergency availability and response.
If applicable, Schedule and participate in regular clinical supervision towards licensure following the current laws and regulations of the Board of Health Professions. Supervision will include assessing counseling skills, reviewing a representative sample of treatment plans that were developed by the Clinician, monitoring assessments, reviewing case records and statistics, monitoring family interventions, monitoring case management and crisis intervention, and management of referral and discharge process. Documentation must be maintained of frequency and content of supervision.

ROCKBRIDGE AREA COMMUNITY SERVICES RACS is currently seeking a motivated, qualified individual to work in our coverage area of Rockbridge and Bathy County, and the Cities of Lexington and Buena Vista. RACS will provide training, supervision, and education opportunities specific to the position.
Position Overview:
The Child/Adolescent Mental Health Case Manager is responsible for providing case management services to seriously emotionally disturbed children, adolescents, and their families residing in the catchment area of the Rockbridge Area Community Services Board. Case management services to be provided include needs assessment, linking to services, monitoring services, client and family education, advocacy and outreach.
The position reports to the Child and Adolescent Community Based Services Manager for all case work and clinical duties. In carrying out assigned position responsibilities, he/she receives limited supervision and is required to exercise sound judgment, demonstrate initiative, and maintain a high degree of confidentiality, in accordance with RACS policies and procedures and HIPAA.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in human services related field from an accredited school required.
Zero to one year of clinical experience working with children in a mental health setting required.
A valid Virginia driver's license and maintaining a safe driving record according to RACS policy is required.
QMHP license preferred.
