Responsibilities:

Job Summary/Description:
KSWO is looking for an experienced and dynamic professional to anchor and produce our main weekday newscasts. We want someone passionate about local news who engages with the audience from the anchor desk - not someone who just reads a teleprompter. The ideal candidate will help lead the newsroom by mentoring other journalists and actively shaping the stories we air each night.
This is a great opportunity for a seasoned journalist to move into a leadership role at the number one station in Texoma. Leading by example and representing the station positively, both on and off camera, are musts.
Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
- Anchoring live television broadcasts for our evening newscasts (4 p.m. and 5 p.m.).
- Producing our daily 4 p.m. newscast.
- Using editorial judgment to help determine the content of the newscasts. Reading through and proofing scripts before going on-air.
- Creating news packages for on-air and digital platforms, including regular franchise or special reports, as assigned by the news director.
- Community engagement through attending, hosting, or speaking at local events.
- Posting and regularly updating stories and other material on digital and social media. Interaction with viewers on social media is a must, particularly through Facebook Lives.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Must have at least three years of experience in the news industry.

Job Duties (Duties Assignment Statement)
Design and lead the execution of an institution-wide public and private grants program in keeping with the needs, priorities, and competencies of the institution and its faculty and staff. Efforts range from finding grant sources and informing appropriate individuals; assisting and overseeing the development and writing processes; assisting with final grant production, presentation, and submission.
Draft complete grant proposals for the Associate Vice President's review. Assist with ideation and grant development for faculty, staff and potential partners. Edit and organize grant proposals written by other staff and faculty for the Associate Vice President's review.
Establish and maintain the College's registrations in electronic/Internet based funding agency grant submission systems.
Maintain current knowledge of Office of Management and Budget Uniform Administrative Requirements, Cost Principles, and Audit Requirements for Federal Awards (2 CFR Part 200) and other federal regulations as they relate to allowable and unallowable costs and compliance.
Assist with acquisition of all signatures and approvals for grant projects,
Read and interpret requests for proposals and funding guidelines from government agencies and foundations to determine if appropriate for College and how best to respond.
Coordinate organizational meetings with faculty and staff to discuss guidelines, generate ideas, design projects, and assist in writing sections of the proposal. Edit and organize grant proposals written by other staff and faculty.
Represent the College in the most positive manner with all constituencies we serve.
Assume responsibility, deal effectively with problems, and exercise independent judgment when making decisions.
Maintain confidential data including passwords, salaries, social security numbers, and other personal data.
Establish and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, staff, administrators, and governmental agencies.
Research applicable rules and regulations and apply them to specific programs.
Develop and maintain a comprehensive calendar that includes a schedule for developing grant applications to meet all college and sponsor deadlines.

Required:

Job Summary
As the Senior Proposal Writer, you will support large, complex, proposal development activities, interpret solicitation and statement of work/performance and work statement requirements, create proposal responses based on input from solution developers, capture managers, and technical subject matter experts. This includes collaborating and communicating with stakeholders of all levels, conducting research and analysis as well as Subject Matter Expert interviews for accurate data collection and technically accurate information. As part of the Proposals Team, you will continuously contribute to the development and improvement of processes, tools, and templates.
Other essential duties include:
Provides end-to-end writing support for technical/ management for Federal solicitations to ensure delivery of a persuasive, compelling and compliant response.
Participates in strategy development and refinement and ensures incorporation of strategic themes with substantiation.
Uses graphics and other illustrations where appropriate and coordinates with other resources to develop graphic concepts.
Ensures prepared content complies with all RFP requirements and page count restrictions.
Keeps the Proposal and Capture Managers apprised of any challenges/problems that could jeopardize the volume.
Proofreads content and edits for flow before submission and throughout reviews and revision cycles.
Reviews proposal sections regularly to ensure continuity among sections/volumes.
Identifies and edits any discrepancies created by reviewers including but not limited to acronym usage, grammar, punctuation and spelling.
Required Experience/ Skills
4+ years experience writing compelling technical proposals using industry best practices to ensure proposals conform to a high standard of quality.
Experience using: Microsoft Office products, SharePoint, Salesforce or related CRM, proposal automation software and Visible Thread.
Ability to determine technical requirements that impact format and production.
Ability to maintain the highest level of professionalism, confidence and integrity while directly dealing with internal and external customers.
Ability to identify alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems.
Ability to prioritize work and successfully meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Strong organization, planning and communication skills.
