Physical inspections of the property
The Overnight GSR will respond to any type of problem or issue that may occur after normal business hours and must clock in and out for all calls and work performed.
Keep aware of hotel policies concerning room/sign rates, group and other discounts and special offerings.
Maintain proficiency in all location computer and software systems.
Supply guests with directions and information regarding property amenities, room features, services, hours of operation and local areas of interest.
Record guest comments or complaints, referring guests to GM, as necessary.
Know property emergency procedures and respond to any/all emergency situations (police, fire, emergency responders, weather, building electrical outage, water line breaks, etc.) in a timely manner.
Help clean and maintain common areas within the hotel: hallways, lobbies, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, entrance doors, emergency exits and sidewalks to brand and Gulf Coast standards. Provide guest safety at entrances and on sidewalks in inclement weather.
Work in laundry room area loading and unloading washers and dryers and folding items.
Notify GM or Maintenance Support of any major repairs.
Ensure the security needs of the property and guests are met.
Wear appropriate attire per the dress code.

Responsibilities:
Execute front desk clerk duties as required, such as processing reservations and check-ins, delegating housekeeping, security, and service requests, responding to guest inquiries, and resolving guest complaints as needed
Verify, audit, and reconcile all financial records such as room charges, cash drawer activity, credit card transactions, final bill preparation, room charges, and occupancy percentages
Provide exceptional service to all hotel guests during their stay
Perform additional bookkeeping, administrative, and accounting procedures as required
Prepare and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports to general manager, department heads, and hotel management
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred
Flexible overnight hours are required
Computer proficiency is required; experience with accounting or reservation software is preferred
Outstanding communication skills and excellent customer service skills are required
Previous hotel front desk, hospitality, guest services, or night audit experience is preferred, but not required

THE ROLE

WHAT YOU'LL DO
Guest Experience & Service Delivery
Greet and assist guests with check-ins, check-outs, and general inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
Serve as the primary contact for guest needs during overnight hours

Provide resort information and recommendations to enhance the guest experience
Audit & Administrative Tasks
