Ensure all patient paperwork is completed prior to procedure. Watch for signs and symptoms of impaired gas exchange related to anesthesia. Remain by the patient's side until anesthesia has been successfully induced. Pediatric OR Travel Nurses should be able to stand and walk for long periods of time, as well as bend, lean and stoop without difficulty. RNs should be able to easily lift 20 pounds.
