Job Summary: The Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will take responsibility for orchestrating specialty care in an outpatient setting. The incumbent shall assess, diagnose and develop a plan of care for patients with gastrointestinal illnesses in conjunction with the gastroenterologist and will work as a part of the academic care team. Competency in performing diagnostic tests will be expected; training will be provided. Minimum Qualifications: NYS licensed/registered NP or PA required (NYS NP specialty area of certification must be consistent with practice).
