Qualifications: (one of the following) Satisfactory completion of a training and competency evaluation program which complies with state/federal regulations and one (1) year experience preferred. Be on the Texas Department of Human Services' Nurse Aide Registry with no findings against the Aide relating to client abuse or neglect or misappropriation of client property. No criminal history or employee misconduct record that would preclude hiring. Current certification in basic life support. Observes and reports changes in residents' physical condition and cognitive/emotional status to Wellness Director or supervisor, as needed. Conducts room checks and resident rounds.
