At our customer's manufacturing site in Asheville, you will be involved in assembling state-of-the-art laboratory equipment used around the world by scientists, healthcare professionals, and researchers advancing drug discovery, disease prevention, and environmental protection.
These roles are hands-on first shift roles.
Responsibilities:
Assemble product components and sub-assemblies for laboratory equipment and medical devices.
Read and follow detailed work instructions, diagrams, and wiring schematics.
Use hand and power tools such as drills, rivet guns, and presses.
Perform quality checks and testing to ensure every unit meets our high standards.
Record data in our SAP system for production tracking and inventory management.
Collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot issues and improve processes.
Requirements:

Power tool experience (required)
Experience in manufacturing, production, or lab settings is preferred but not required
Ability to follow technical instructions and recognize part numbers and color codes.

What You'll Do:
Promote Safety. Take an active role in prioritizing safety throughout the operation for yourself and others at all times in accordance with MSHA and Vulcan standards.
Plant Operation. Operate plant equipment to regulate flow of materials to and from conveyors, chutes, pumps, and storage bins. Control stockpile inventory of materials.

* Operating various equipment and vehicles for maintenance, repair, and construction projects of stormwater drainage systems and city roadways that involves digging, moving earth and materials, grading, loading, and performing similar tasks; equipment is primarily driven and operated on-site, but does require some driving over public roads; maneuvers in and around traffic.
* Driving dump trucks to haul materials to and from work sites
* Operates excavator, backhoe, and/or skid steer to perform skilled digging, trenching, or various other tasks for maintenance, upkeep, and construction of stormwater infrastructure and city roadways
* Inspects and prepares equipment for safe and proper operation prior to beginning work for the day: performs light maintenance on equipment, which includes refueling, greasing, and adding any needed fluids; cleans vehicles, beds, and mounted equipment upon completion of assignments; and secures vehicle after use.
* Performs manual labor such as lifting, digging, moving. Utilizing tools such as shovels, rakes, hammers, , tamps, power equipment and other small tools and equipment to be used in construction, maintenance, and repair projects of stormwater infrastructure and city roadways
* Performs other duties in support of City operations; provides coverage during special events and activities; responds to emergency and disaster situations; provides assistance to other employees or department; and performs other related duties as required.
* Follows established safety procedures: utilizes safety equipment and wears protective gear: monitors work environment to ensure safety of employees and other individuals.
* Communicates with supervisor, co-workers, other City employees, the public, and other individuals as needed to coordinate work activities, and ensure safety.

Performs inspection and packaging of plastic parts. Adheres to all plant and OSHA safety policies and regulations.

Must be able to run 2 Injection Mold machines independently by six month mark.
Processes manufactured parts per job instructions, pack verified amounts, and label appropriately.
Constructs boxes for packing at assigned machine.
Visually inspects parts for defects as noted on QPM and sample boards to ensure quality parts are being packed in compliance with specified requirements.
May cut off runners with gate cutters and inspect such things as springs or screws to ensure finished part meets specifications.
Enters information on log sheets such as in-process books every two hours as quality checks are made to ensure product consistency and conformity to quality standards.
Understands production records and is able to keep accurate counts of accepted, rejected and scrapped product as noted on packing logs.

Essential Responsibilities
Maintain all quality standards set for packaging at Monster Brewing facilities.
Operate packaging equipment.
Troubleshoot equipment issues, under supervision.
Understand and adhere to safety standards.
Clean and maintains packaging equipment.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Alert supervisor(s) or other management to potential quality or safety concerns.
Use Personal Protection Equipment properly.
Log information immediately and accurately.
Additional Responsibilities
Clean kegs and ensure keg stock is properly maintained.
Perform facility related duties as required or assigned.
