Job DescriptionSummary/Objective: The Equipment Operator is responsible for ensuring raw materials are properly received, stored and loaded for production. Ensures that the yard area is properly maintained and organized. Essential Functions:
Primary functions include: stocking received materials, loading and unloading deliveries; and loading customer vehicles.
Ensure that equipment is operating properly at all times by completing the greasing, checking oil fluid levels, adding grease and oil as required, and keeping plant and equipment clean and free of excess material.
Keep equipment and plant site clean at all times by washing the outside of the plant and equipment whenever necessary, maintaining plant grounding, picking up trash and other items from grounds, and making sure that all equipment is in its proper place.
Operate vehicles and equipment in a safe manner.
Perform all pre and post-trip inspections and complete daily inspection reports.
Follow all environmental regulations and clean up any excess material that could cause environmental problems.
Assist the Concrete Plant Manager in batching and other duties when necessary.
Assist Dispatch and the Concrete Plant Manager in truck/driver communications.
Perform miscellaneous duties and outside labor as requested, which may include, but not limited to, cleaning up around the plant, sweeping, shoveling, moving wheelbarrows, picking up equipment or supplies.
Other duties as assigned.

Operate forklift to transport raw materials and finished product to designated areas

Follows standard operating and LOTO procedures for all assigned tasks
Performs all standard QC tests and accurately record production data

DESCRIPTION: Efficiently and safely perform the duties of operating an extrusion line machine, including setup, startup, troubleshooting, and continuous operation of equipment. Must be willing and available to work overtime as needed.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Ability to set-up the extrusion line according to schedule.
* Read and understand the schedule, BOM, and SOC.
* Be able to perform all functions of the setup including:
* Select proper tooling
* Install Tooling
* Insure correct resin
* Ability to start up the extrusion machine according to schedule.
* Position all controls to SOC.
* Activate Extruder and miscellaneous drives.
* Test initial product.
* Make necessary adjustments.
* Verify product is in spec.
* Package product in accordance with the packaging instructions.
* Troubleshoot the process.
* Perform QC test per SOC.
* Store finished product per instructions.
* Validate Process is in Control.
* Correctly Enters Data in Data Collection.
* Clean and return to stock all used tooling.
* Adhere to Food Safety Regulations as applicable.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
* Proficient in the use of calipers, micrometers, and rulers.
* Read & understand the Metric & English (US Customary) measuring system.
* Able to read ruler measurement to nearest ¼"
* Able to convert measurements from one system to another.
* Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
* Basic computer skills
* Basic math skills
* Read and comprehend English
Preferred:
* Forklift Certification preferred.

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate necessary equipment to bale and load waste or other material into trailers.
• Perform inspection and maintenance checks of equipment daily.
• Grease/lubricate equipment, check and add fluids to equipment daily
• Operator will steer, guide and or drive the above listed equipment at the assigned site, if the equipment is used at the particular site(s) using steering wheel, shifters, levers, buttons and pedals.
• Operator will substitute for another operator if someone is absent from the work crew or as needed/required.
• Operator will clean trash from tracks of heavy equipment by pulling and or cutting material away from tracks and gear mechanisms at least once daily or more if needed.
• Operator will use a two-way radio to communicate with co-workers in the field and or office regarding work activities, Requirements: and priorities for the work day.
• Conform in all respects with applicable federal, state/provincial and local laws, regulations, ordinances and other orders and to all company policies, procedures and directives from supervisors.
• Maintain appearance of the grounds and facility.
• Attend safety and branch meetings.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) desired, but not required.
• Completion of forklift certification.
• Ability to obtain Transfer Station/Landfill Operations Certification if needed.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Demonstrate ability to follow instructions and work under little supervision.
• Apply commonsense understanding to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in a standardized setting
• Ability to perform the four basic functions of math and to be able to read and understand the meaning of equipment gauges.
• Must have the ability to read, speak, understand and write the English language.
• Must be able to frequently lift/push/pull up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds.
Physical/Mental Demands:
• Ability to stand, sit, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, talk, hear, climb, balance, taste, and smell.
• Visual Requirements: include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
