POSITION SUMMARY Operate cranes to lift and move materials, machines, or products in many directions. Perform multi-crane lifts and operations, and pick-and-carry operations. Work with hand signals from Universal Standard Signal Chart. Work with minimal supervision. Perform other duties as assigned. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This position has no supervisory responsibilities. REQUIREMENTS Education/ Experience: High school diploma or GED. Must have crane certification for TLL or LBC. Requires knowledge of and ship terminology, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) standards. Requires strong knowledge of rigging. Skills: Ability to read and comprehend written, oral, or diagram forms or plans. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to read and understand load charts. Knowledge of the safe operation and use of hand and power tools. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure. Key Responsibilities The Operations Co-op position exists as a developmental support position for our manufacturing operations teams. The position will be involved in day-to-day process engineering support activities and also be responsible for completing 1-2 larger, long-term projects which will be defined at the beginning of the co-op rotation. Co-ops will be targeted at the sophomore and junior levels and will complete 2-3 rotations within the Company's manufacturing operations and may be assigned to manufacturing plants located in Panama City, Florida; Pensacola, Florida; Savannah, Georgia, Belpre, Ohio and Dover, Ohio.
