What you will do:
* Non-supervisory rig-based drilling positions are responsible for performing various manual labor tasks throughout the rig site, including rig up and down activities, general equipment operation, repairs and maintenance on rig components, assigned activities on the rig floor, mud-mixing, handling tubulars in the derrick, and other various duties as assigned.

Responsibilities
Under general supervision, carry out general labor responsibilities promptly and efficiently. Responsibilities may include:

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Ensures all crew members are at work on time and properly prepared
Operates the rig and equipment in accordance with DOT regulations and those requested or designated by the customer
Maintains contact and communication with customer
Maintains productivity standards for all rig employees and adheres to all applicable government regulations for compliance
Ensures efficient maintenance of assigned rig and crew truck
Drives crew truck
Maintains and inspects tools and equipment
Attends and participated in safety meetings
Understand and comply with company, customer, and health/safety policies, and any other regulations that are required
Reports any and all incidents immediately
Able to work in all weather conditions
Performs other duties as directed by management
Required Skills
Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Must possess organization and problem-solving skills
Must be able to work with a team
Must be able to lift 60 lbs and hand physical demanding work
Must be able to communicate using oral and basic written communication
Must pass a Pre-Employment Drug & Alcohol screening and participate in the random testing pool
Must pas a background check and motor vehicle record check
Arrange for reliable transportation to and from work

Class A or B CDL, preferred
Education & Experience

POSITION SCOPE
The Heavy Equipment Operator must be able to operate a skid steer, loader, dozer, crusher, or excavator according to project specifications. The individual will be responsible for servicing and maintaining equipment daily.
This position does require travel.
PRIMARY DUTIES
Operate equipment efficiently to maintain production goals
Assist with setup and tear down of plants
Perform general maintenance, repair, and service equipment as required or directed by supervisor
General housekeeping of equipment and plants daily or as directed by supervisor
Individuals must be able to lift objects weighing 80 lb. on a regular basis
The use of a shovel to move material will be necessary
Perform all duties within safety guidelines set up by M.S.H.A. and company policy
Perform pre-shift inspections on equipment prior to startup
Safety, Safety, Safety - comply with all company policies, procedures, and standards of safety
Perform other duties as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must be at least 18 years old
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Able to operate equipment efficiently to maintain project specifications
Mechanical knowledge of equipment and being able to perform routine maintenance
Basic knowledge of welding and using a cutting torch
Acceptable MVR in accordance with Fisher's Company Vehicle Program policy is required
MSHA part 46 and/or part 48
or
willingness to obtain certification - company will pay for certification
Ability to complete work tasks under various adverse weather conditions including heat above 100 degrees, cold, rain, and snow
Ability to pass a pre-employment drug test is required
Work well in a team environment
Travel will be required
