Archaea Energy, a leader in the landfill gas to energy industry has an immediate opening for a Plant Operator/Technician at our Rochelle Plant in Rochelle, IL ! We are looking for candidates with 1-5 years of operation & maintenance experience on mobile or stationary engine generator sets up to 1500 kW. Specific experience monitoring plant operations, performing maintenance and repairs on CAT G3500 and G3600 gas engines or similar piston engines, controls, generators and ancillary equipment is desired.
**Introductory Employment Period:**
Your employment with Archaea will begin with an introductory period of **90 days** , starting from your first day of work. The introductory period is intended to support your transition into the role and provide an opportunity for both you and the Company to ensure a strong mutual fit. During this time, we'll work together to assess how your performance, conduct, and reliability align with the expectations of the position and the values of our organization, while also offering guidance and feedback to help you succeed.
During this time, your supervisor will evaluate your ability to meet the expectations of your role, including but not limited to:

At the conclusion of the introductory period, your performance will be reviewed. **Responsibilities and Duties**

+ Performs facility inspections, maintenance and repairs of plant equipment.
+ Monitors and adjusts plant system controls to improve performance and prevent equipment failure.
+ Responds to plant alarms with designated supervision to learn appropriate corrective action and implement plant shut-down and start-up procedures.
+ Maintains plant compliance with state and federal permitting requirements, complete all daily, monthly, or annual reporting per requirements.
+ Performs maintenance tasks as vital (i.e. repair or replace worn or broken parts and equipment).
+ Performs administrative duties including daily, weekly, monthly logs and reports (i.e. unit conditions, maintenance, operations, performance, and downtime).
+ Maintains, orders, and purchases an inventory of tools, parts, fluids and other supplies for plant operations.
+ Communicate and coordinate plant activities with clients (utility company and landfill personnel).
+ Assists other Company facilities as advised by management.
+ Completes all Company and regulatory training.
+ Performs random security inspections and various security checks around the plant.
+ Perform landfill tuning duties in recording and storing data as the need arises.
+ Adjust/ tune well field as the need arises to improve gas quantity and quality
**Qualifications and Skills**
+ Steadfast dedication to safety and able to positively represent the company's safety culture
+ 1-5 years of operation and maintenance experience on mobile or stationary engine generator sets up to 1500kW.
+ Must possess ability to read and interpret operations and safety manuals, analyze and apply basic troubleshooting and repair techniques on plant equipment.
+ Must possess digital literacy (Word, Excel, PLC and email systems).
+ The ability to work independently with a minimum of supervision.
+ Overtime maybe required to meet various business needs.
+ Must be able to lift up to 60 lbs, crouch, bend, and knell for extended periods of time, and work in an environment of constant loud noises and extreme heat.
+ High school diploma or equivalent required.
+ Must possess a valid driver's license.

Position Overview:
The Production Operator is responsible for operating and cleaning Production processing equipment, preparing coating solutions and other formulas in a cGMP environment, and following detailed written instructions and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). Typical processing duties include verifying tasks performed by other personnel, maintaining forms and records, accurately calculating yields and ratios, precise measurement of components, close monitoring of process conditions, identifying deviations to processes under their control, and labeling containers as to their contents, lot number, weight, etc. The Production Operator is also responsible for transferring product from bulk packaging containers into final product shipping containers and other duties as assigned.

Cleans equipment and areas.
Operates equipment in assigned suite.

Verifies tasks performed by other personnel.
Identifies deviations to processes under their control.
Labels containers with contents, lot number, weight, etc.
Transfers solvents from large to small containers.

Performs simple mathematical calculations.
Follows all CPI safety and cGMP practices, policies, and procedures.

PRIMARY JOB DUTIES:
1. Certifications and Training:
a. Review and comprehend instructions on the Quality Requirement Sheet (QRS)
b. Train as Product Auditor and cover as necessary
c. Complete Machine Operator Front and Machine Operator Back training
d. Operate pallet jack
e. Achieve walk behind electric stacker certification, operate, and perform and record inspections
f. Achieve lockout/tagout certification
2. Area of Responsibility:
a. Responsible for up to 5 (five) thermoformers when carrying out Front responsibilities
b. Responsible for up to 8 (eight) thermoformers when carrying out Back responsibilities
c. Responsible for up to 3 (three) thermoformers when carrying out Front and Back responsibilities
3. Maintain workflow, as to not disrupt production; reducing downtime:
a. Stock machine centers with raw materials
b. Monitor staged material stock levels
c. Perform plastic roll change
d. Perform wipe outs as necessary
e. Log all material rolls in the roll log/scrap report as used
f. Monitor scrap levels and remove scrap plastic from machines and transport to designated areas
g. Palletize shipping containers
h. Transport finished product to designated areas
i. Prepare materials to be returned to inventory
j. Perform setup of minor equipment (i.e. tapers)
4. Safety:
a. Perform general housekeeping duties and maintain safe work area.
b. Keep area clean and organized per food safety standards.
c. Resolve safety issues and report them immediately to your manager/supervisor.
5. Communication:
a. Contact the Production Lead or Supervisor when a thermoformer will be down for a prolonged period of time to ensure reassignment of product auditor(s) in a timely manner
b. Communicate all information at shift hand off to the incoming operator
c. Communicate needs to warehouse personnel for material, cardboard boxes, and scrap bin removal to ensure optimal running of the manufacturing lines
6. Maintain all operator reports and keep record of material data
7. Assist in OTJ training
8. All other duties as assigned

Grain Production Operator Essential Responsibilities:
ALCIVIA is seeking a dedicated Grain Production Operator to support operations across our Grain & Agronomy facility. This role is responsible for managing inbound and outbound grain, maintaining optimal grain conditions, and accurately measuring grain inventory. Additional responsibilities include handling bulk and packaged fertilizer and chemical products, as well as monitoring agronomy inventory. The operator is expected to uphold a safe and clean working environment and ensure proper maintenance of equipment and facilities. This position requires year-round work in both indoor and outdoor environments.
* Operate and maintain grain elevator systems, including conveyors, scales, and grain dryers
* Ensure efficient and accurate delivery of incoming grain from trucks and railcars
* Load and unload trucks and railcars using heavy machinery such as loaders and forklifts
* Assist cooperative members with the loading and unloading of corn, beans, and wheat
* Maintain precise records of grain inventory and transactional data
* Bin grain in preparation for handling, blending, and outbound shipment
* Store grain safely, efficiently, and in accordance with facility protocols
* Conduct visual inspections of stored grain and complete corresponding reports
* Monitor bin temperatures and aerate grain based on weather and moisture conditions
* Blend grain as directed to optimize grade and minimize discounts
* Safely and effectively dry grain, ensuring adequate space for wet bushels

Position Summary
The Heavy Equipment Operator works on various construction sites to operate one or several types of power construction equipment, such as excavators, motor graders, skid loaders, bulldozers, scrapers, tractors, or front-end loaders to excavate, move, and grade earth. Daily minor equipment maintenance/repairs may be required in addition to other duties.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Operates heavy equipment of various sizes and weights used in underground site utility construction.
Properly follows company and OSHA safety procedures. Brings problems to the attention of the project Foreman.
Follows daily processes and procedures consistent with job training and/or specific job orientation.
Performs routine inspection and notifies management of needed preventative maintenance on assigned equipment. Refers defects or needed repairs to project Foreman.
Visually verifies the location of any existing underground utilities prior to excavation.
Is knowledgeable in trenching requirements and reviews these requirements with project Foreman, ensuring the proper protective equipment is located on the job site and that it is free from defects.
Other projects or duties as assigned by management.
