As a Humanoid Robot Operator, you will work at the forefront of our customer fleet operations, deploying Figure humanoid robots into automotive manufacturing use cases, identifying issues, and relaying feedback to onsite and offsite engineering teams. You may also collect new data to train our AI systems and work with the AI team to refine behaviors over time.
Responsibilities:
Successful operation of one or more humanoid robots operating in a specific customer use case for the duration of an operating shift
Observe robot operations and document robot issues during operation, including reviewing observed issues with onsite and offsite engineering teams
Complete end-of-day robot operations reporting, including performance and productivity metrics
May control the robot remotely by wearing a teleoperating suit for robot training purposes
Maintain a safe environment for both yourself and the robot at all times
Follow proper equipment and robot service procedures, including bring-up and shutdown and physical inspection
Requirements:
Willingness to own the operations of the humanoid robot and drive proper functioning of the robot
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to perform duties and communicate with a high level of professionalism, in a customer-facing environment
Must be available for a regular schedule of 40 hours a week, including weekends and holidays, according to business need. Shifts may include evening or early morning hours

The Production Operator may be involved in more than one process including cleaning (remove excess foam and build up on the molds), spraying (applying release agent to the mold to prevent the foamed part from sticking to the mold or the part being burned), demolding (removal of parts from the molds and visually inspect for voids, tears, out of channel or missing wires), or inlaying (accurately inlaying wires, hard foam, fleeces and frames into molds).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Remove excess foam and build up from mold by scrubbing with a tuffy and/or plastic pick.
Identify nonconforming material and properly dispose of the material.
Communicate quality issues to operators on the line, and/or process, shift lead and supervisor.
Spray mold using a hand operated sprayer.
Spray mold with hand held air gun to clean off excess flash left from parts.
Remove a quality part from the molds.
Able to identify when a mold needs more or less release agent to avoiding sticking and ripping of parts being removed from the mold.
Correctly place material into molds prior to foaming process.
Identify nonconforming material and properly dispose of the material.
Conduct audits and assessments to identify potential areas of risk and develop mitigation strategies. Understand and maintain audit compliance as it relates to the production function. This would include: IATF, ISO, and TISAX (information security).
Follow all safety protocols and guidelines established by the company. Encourage safe practices and a safety-first mindset among coworkers.
Communicate quality issues to operators on the line, and/or process, shift lead and supervisor.

Education and/or Experience:
Employee must have a working knowledge of manufacturing environment. Must be self-motivated and possess well developed leadership skills.
Minimum Requirement:
High School Diploma/GED
Ability to read and interpret work instructions/general production information written and communicated in English.
Preferred:
1 year of manufacturing experience
Language Skills:
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret basic instructions and required documents. Has the ability to respond and communicate complicated instruction and basic directions.
Mathematical Skills:
Ability to comprehend and apply principles of basic mathematics.
Reasoning Ability:
