    Overview: The Terminal Operator is responsible for ensuring the safe, efficient, and compliant operation of a Quikrete terminal facility. This role supports daily product receipt, storage, inventory control, and shipment activities while maintaining equipment reliability, product quality, and adherence to company safety and environmental standards. Location: La Crosse, WI Roles & Responsibilities Comply with all company policies and applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations. Ensure Quikrete Quality Assurance Policy is fully implemented-take samples and send for analysis. Coordinate the receipt, storage, handling, and shipment of all products. Maintain terminal property and equipment. Industrial maintenance experience on equipment and machinery. Ensure mobile and stationary equipment inspection programs are fully implemented and followed. Ensures that all data in SAP pertaining to the terminal inventories, product received and shipped is accurate. Coordinates rail and truck receiving/dispatch with CVC, truck and rail teams. Coordinates loading hours with Quikrete Ready Mix facilities and transportation companies through CVC team. Coordinates terminal shipping activities with sales office, customers, trucking firms, distribution personnel, suppliers, government officials, and manufacturing locations. Manage compliance of the Quikrete Safety Program to ensure personnel and contractors are working in a safe manner in accordance with policies and procedures. Ensure all aspects of his/her role are executed in a safe manner. Ensure employees, contractors, equipment and processes meet or exceed the OSHA and Quikrete guidelines and standards. Pursue an objective of “zero” injuries or incidents. Engage with personnel and contractors to reinforce safe behaviors. Responsible for ensuring compliance with environmental policy. If there is an issue your authority will be to correct the issue and communicate to the Terminal Manager or Operations Manager steps taken to resolve the issue, depending on the severity. Ensure the terminal runs efficiently and in compliance with Safety regulations and Quikrete policies and procedures. Responsible for all terminal maintenance and preventive maintenance to ensure no breakdowns. Communicate any issues with Terminal Manager or Operations Manager. Take the lead role to schedule contractors when needed. Manage inventory policies by ensuring daily records are accurate. Perform daily reconciliations and the end of each day to ensure our shipment total matches system generated totals. Re-sponsible for the awareness and knowledge of the availability and proximity of railcars for the terminal. Release and Order in available cars daily according to the terminal's needs. Schedule extended work hours if needed with other terminal staff to meet product demand. Communicate with Sales personnel and Terminal Manager regarding supply issues or concerns in a timely manner. Responsible to ensure the Quality policy is followed. If Quality issues arise, immediately communicate with Terminal Manager, Operations Manager or Sales personnel. Promotes Quikrete name/brand and ensures good community stewardship. Rail Loading and Unloading. Ability to operate hand and power tools. Required Experience: Mechanical or equipment operation experience. Ability to stand for extended periods (up to 8 hours per day) and perform repetitive tasks. Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately. Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Schedule: We currently make lefse Monday - Friday 6:30 AM - 2:30 PM. While we are open to and have a need for employees who will work part-time (2-3 days per week), we also need employees to work full 8-hour days. We also have a need for employees looking for full-time employment. There is a possibility of additional afternoon or weekend shifts starting October 1, 2025.
