Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Comply with cGMP ensuring such practices are followed by staff.
Maintain a safe work environment.

Assemble repair, inspect, clean and polish molds using skill and care while handling and polishing critical surfaces.
Lay out, fabricate and assemble metalworking dies, molds, and machine tool fixtures by analyzing blueprints, sketches, models and engineering or shop specifications.
Use a variety of machinist's hand tools and precision measuring instruments.
Set up and operate CNC lathes, milling machines and surface grinders.
Compute dimensions; determine machining and material or parts requirements.
Solve problems relating to unusual material, work-holding arrangements, machine settings, fabrication methods, and production processes.
Modify and/or construct tools, jigs, fixtures, robot arms, molds and mold components.
Understand form fit and functions in mold construction.
Perform close‐tolerance machining using detailed blueprints, drawings, and sketches.
Uses precision measuring instruments in the fabrication of various mold components and plastic tools and parts.
Perform accurate layout of tolerance and angles required to complete assignments.
Recommend design improvements and/or substitutions of material as required.

Machine / Cleaning Operator
Shift: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM Temp to Hire
Seeking a reliable Machine / Cleaning Operator to support a precision manufacturing environment. Responsibilities include monitoring machines, removing and inspecting finished product, performing cleaning and sorting operations, and maintaining a clean and organized work area. This role works closely with Toolroom and Inspection teams to ensure product quality and adherence to specifications.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor machines and identify basic troubleshooting issues
Remove finished product and verify parts meet specifications
Measure parts using micrometers and other precision gauges
Visually inspect product to prints to minimize scrap
Communicate with Toolmakers, Inspectors, and Production staff
Monitor and refill machine oil and lubrication as needed
Keep machines and surrounding areas clean and organized
Sweep and mop shop floors as required
Sort parts as needed per job requirements
Clean product according to documented procedures
Process parts based on daily priority lists
Perform part counts and enter data into the system
Maintain cleaning equipment per maintenance schedules
Ensure proper product identification and prevent product mix-ups
Monitor cleaning room supplies and request replenishment as needed
Clean and maintain totes, pans, and containers
Clean, separate, and package process scrap
Qualifications
Ability to lift and carry up to 30 lbs regularly
Strong fine motor skills and hand dexterity
Experience using precision measuring tools including:
Micrometers
Plug gauges
Ring gauges
Pressure pins
Ability to communicate effectively with coworkers
Manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred
Preferred: Experience with eyelet or precision metal manufacturing

Essential Functions:
Ability to read work orders to determine profile type, machine setup procedures, and type of build to be cut.
Select and install cutting heads and all proper tooling on machine according to the pattern.
Run materials through machinery and inspect for proper profile specifications.
Make any required adjustments needed before producing order.
Use machinery to cut wood to customer specifications.
Follow production schedules.
Responsible for general machine/tool maintenance. Check for proper lengths and quality, change tooling when worn.
Complete production records.
Maintain a clean/safe work area at all times.
Perform other duties as required.
Competencies:
Ability to operate machinery safely and determine when maintenance is needed.
Possess strong mechanical aptitude.
Consistently meet project deadlines.
Practical mathematic and measuring skills
Must follow company policies, safety instructions, and wear required protective equipment.
