The Thomas Hill Power Plant is accepting applications for our General Utility 1st Period applicant pool. Under the direction of the Operations Supervisor, the General Utility 1st Period performs general cleaning in the plant, coal yard, and on outside grounds. They also maintain plant grounds using tractors and equipment as needed in addition to hauling trash or other waste materials using trucks or other plant equipment.
The General Utility 1st Period may be assigned to Plant Departments when required to perform general cleaning from these departments. This position is required to accomplish more skilled work as they progress through the periods and become a full General Utility.

* Observing all safety procedures while maintaining a clean and safe work area

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, Solventum requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:
* Possess a High School Diploma / GED or higher (completed prior to start)
* Ability to work one or more of the following shifts:
* 2nd Shift (3:30pm - 11:30pm)
* 3rd Shift (11:30pm - 7:30am)
* 12-hour night rotating shift (7:30pm - 7:30am) with every other weekend off
* Ability to work overtime, weekends, or holidays as needed
Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:
