You will be filling high pressure cylinders (Industrial, Medical and Mixes) following compression temperature / pressure method.
Operate and safely maintain equipment for pumping or repackaging gases into cylinders.
Perform all required pre-fill and post-fill inspections and tests before cylinders are released.
Ensure cylinders are adequately maintained - cylinders requiring maintenance or repair are removed from service until corrected.
Regularly inspect and maintain pumping apparatus and associated pressure gauges and monitoring devices.
Fill cylinders or containers to proper pressure or weight, whichever is appropriate.
Ensure cylinder filling records are accurately maintained and that all required procedures are followed in order to comply with local, state and federal regulations.
Assist with loading and unloading trucks and/or trailers when required.
Assist with inventory, general housekeeping, and help customers when necessary.
Records deliveries and pick-ups on a load manifest.
Will operate an Airgas vehicle as needed.
Performs pre and post trip vehicle inspections, documenting deficiencies utilizing Airgas forms and ensures all safety items are in good working order.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
Reporting to the Terminal Manager, the **Terminal Operators** are responsible for the safe operation of a cement distribution terminal. It requires the hands-on operation and occasional maintenance of all terminal equipment, developing a proficiency in bulk truck and bulk railcar operations.
Safety, quality, and customer service are the primary focus of the terminal. The terminal receives product by bulk rail transport, stores the product, and loads customer bulk trucks. The manner in which trucks are expedited, customers are handled, and qualities are ensured are key functions of this position. This is a safety sensitive position.
A positive attitude, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to be a team participant in a small cross-functional group are essential elements for a successful terminal operator. The terminal has a team commitment to operating in the safest and most environmentally responsible manner following all known safety laws, regulations and policies. Providing the highest level of quality and customer service to our customers is a priority at the terminal. Maintaining terminal equipment, good housekeeping in all work areas, and operating equipment safely is vital to efficient terminal operations.
**WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH**
+ Comply with all known Local, State and Federal Laws and Regulations
+ Load bulk trucks correctly, provide legal weights and proper product for customer delivery/pick-up.
+ Perform routine maintenance on all terminal property and equipment. Maintain the terminal in a clean and presentable state.
+ Perform clerical functions following the established guidelines for the recording of receipts, shipments and inventory records.
+ Responsible for unloading railcars, transferring of product into proper silos, sampling and testing of products received and shipped.

Functional Summary

Assigned to specific equipment in the digital press area with the opportunity to be crossed trained on equipment in other areas of the operation. Role will include setting up equipment, general maintenance, and meeting production standards related to output and quality.

Responsibilities
Set up machines and equipment before production runs, ensuring that they are calibrated and functioning properly.
Monitor machines during production runs, checking for any issues or malfunctions and adjusting as needed.
Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machines, including cleaning, lubricating, and replacing parts.
Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with machines and equipment and make repairs or escalate issues as necessary.
Follow safety procedures and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for themselves and other workers.
Follow production schedules and workflows to ensure that production runs smoothly and efficiently.
Record production data and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to management.
Collaborate with other departments, such as engineering, quality control, and production management, to ensure that products meet customer and industry standards.

JOB SUMMARY: The Heavy Equipment Operator will be expected to be proficient with operations of all types of heavy construction equipment. The Heavy Equipment Operator will drive, maneuver, and control the heavy machinery used to construct roads, bridges, buildings, and other structures. The position will safely use machinery to move construction materials, earth, and other heavy materials at construction sites with minimal direct supervision. Commitment to workplace safety is a must.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Drive and maneuver all types of heavy construction equipment.
Operate heavy equipment in a safe and effective manner.
Cut and maintain slope or grade as called-out in project plans.
Follow project plans and instructions by the Forman and Superintendent.
Take actions to avoid potential hazards and obstructions, such as other equipment, other workers, and falling objects.
Load and haul all types of construction machinery, including tanks and skids.
Account and report daily activity and maintain accurate and complete work records.
Identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
Communicate well over the phone and or radio.
Comply with all safety requirements and participate in safety meetings.
