Other duties may be assigned. Check writing on fabric to be sure it matches the accompanying paperwork. Perform all job duties following S.O.P. instructions and safety procedures. Dispense chemicals electronically from the chemical dispensing system. Check for face of fabric up or down and wet count. Help operator start the lot of fabric. Help winder start lot if needed. Help keep fabric running straight, notify operator of problems and defects. Maintain a good safety attitude and abide by all safety rules. Set tenter frame up from instructions on S.O.P.'s and any instructions from the shift coordinator/department manager. Fill out all production reports and papers required in processing the lot. Keep good communication with the crew while running in order to maintain first quality fabric. Inspect at all times when lot is running, record and report any defects. Push cabs loaded with fabric. Help perform weekly maintenance on tenter frame. Adjust knives to proper depth, adjust truck or beam tension to proper settings and adjust traction rollers.
