    Job DescriptionDescription: • Maintains the machining process with the cell to ensure product quality and productivity. • Operates any and all machines in assigned area as required to maintain production and will perform deburring as required. • Uses micrometers, calipers, electronic gages and other precision measuring instruments to check parts as specified by the manufacturing procedures and quality systems control plan. • Responsible for maintaining compliance with all safety rules, and regulations for the cell and the employees assigned to the cell including lockout / tagout procedures, personal protective equipment, zero set procedures, and general safe operating procedures. • Respects cycle times and production requirements. • Responsible for 5s and Housekeeping of his or her area. • Has the responsibility and authority for quality as delegated by management. • Wear the appropriate safety equipment at all times, attend scheduled safety meetings, and conduct oneself in a manner respectful to others, equipment, and tools. • Perform other job duties as required. • Load/unload • Deburr • Eye way chart inspection • Auto control chart / gauging • Packing • Labelling • Kiosks • Work instructions • PM level 1 Requirements: EDUCATION LEVEL : High School Diploma / GED, Employee must have 180 days experience as a machine operator, and successfully complete the formal cell operator training program, or directly related on the job training and experience.

Role Summary: The Extrusion Operator is responsible for setting up jobs on the extruder. This includes changing the die set, putting on deckles, setting gaps on rollers, filling the extruder with materials, and maintaining the extruder to produce rolls of plastic to be sold or used in production. All work is performed in a climate- controlled environment.
