Travel to customers daily but home at night. Prepares and presents product line information to customers, prepares and presents professional sales presentations to clients. Contact and visit current and prospective customers, on-site, growing market sales and penetration. Identifies potential sales opportunities by prospecting, visiting prospects, identifying needs, explaining product details, options, initiates product quotations, follow-up with customer inquiries, answers customer questions, correspondence, resolves customer problems, and builds long-term customer relationships. Requires routine sales travel to visit new and existing customers. Responds to customer inquiries, service needs, questions, or complaints regarding products, services, billing issues, and deliveries. Coordinates and works with inside sales and order processing groups to achieve desired results. Manages designated territories and customers to maximize our presence in the industry and ensures return business. Must have and maintain a clean driving record and have a valid driver's license. Execute timely preparation of all expense reports, call reports, travel planners, ensure that databases are current and updated with accurate customer information, and assign projects in a timely manner.
