Perform routine tasks involved in producing, assembling, inspecting, testing, or shipping a product
Load raw material into machinery that may grind, emulsify, mechanically debone, mix/blend and/or plate freeze product. Operate a series of control switches. Starts grinder and observe product flow for jams or blockages. Keep machine continuously supplied with product
Inspect product to ensure that it conforms to established quality control guidelines
Discard incidental waste, that cannot be processed, into bins or other containers for proper disposal
Operate process hose to pump product into plate freezer; hand pack; and insert dividers (when required) to separate product during processing
Pull blocks of frozen product from plate freezers by hand and physically slide product along rail and hand stack onto pallets
Perform sanitation of machines and floors using high pressure hose and other tools to ensure that our equipment and facility is kept clean and hygienic

Store finished product in freezer according to storage guidelines. Conduct inventory and cycle counts.
Receive incoming frozen material that has been approved by management. Weight, prepare, and attach barcode label to each incoming pallet prior to placing material in freezer storage or per other procedure as determined by Plant Manager. Deliver labels and related incoming documents to office.
Ability to learn and operate the automated palletizer machine or manual palletizing process. Process may include:
Properly placing pallets in place to feed machine
Enter commands to start machine, watch and follow sequences and monitors for malfunctions, errors and obstructions that may interfere with proper operation. Correct machine settings using preprogrammed settings, or correcting obstructions and sensor activity.
Prepare proper production forms or reports noting weight of product using NEMO -computerized inventory system
Changes wrap film, removes waste from conveyors, checks pallet quality and loads pallet stacking station.
Controls weights and traceability of product, bags pallet with correct liners, supplies slip sheets and fills liquid containers with charcoal or red dye.
Checks and controls label information and operates traceability system.
Remove cardboard from frozen product using box cutter or other tool
Sort pallets and discard broken pallets and other pallets not conforming to company guidelines.
Remove trash
Participate in job and safety training offered and required by the Company
Maintain good housekeeping of work areas
