All applicants must meet the following qualifications to be considered.
Must be at least 23 years of age.
A minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A CDL tractor-trailer experience, including at least 6 months with the specific type of trailer being hauled (e.g.,container, flatbed, etc.).
Must have a current DOT Medical Examiner's Certificate and a valid long form physical, effective for at least one year from the exam date. Certificate must be certified with the state under the Non-Excepted Interstate category.

This is a seasonal, on-call position that will only be called to duty during City winter weather events. Shifts are 12 hours and will typically be nights from 9pm-9am or 10pm-10am, or day shifts starting at 9am or 10am. Start times of shifts are not flexible but end times of shifts can be flexible based on your availability. The City will provide the snow plow equipment - personal vehicles will not be used. If substantial snowfall or ice is expected, this additional staff will be placed on-call with as much advance notice as possible.
