Mayfield Dairy Farms in Birmingham, Alabama, is hiring a Class A CDL Driver to help keep the South stocked with Mayfield Ice Cream. You will safely operate a tractor-trailer, deliver frozen products to distribution centers, and represent the Mayfield brand with professionalism and pride. Our drivers are known for strong communication, reliability, and excellent customer service.
WHAT YOU WILL DO
Operate Class A equipment to safely transport Mayfield products
Run local and regional routes with a focus on safety, service, and on-time delivery
Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
Follow DOT, FDA/food safety, and company compliance policies
Represent Mayfield and DFA in customer interactions
Assist with loading, unloading, and product transfers as needed
Partner with Transport Leadership and Dispatch to support route efficiency
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a Class A CDL driver who puts safety first with a zero-compromise mindset and takes pride in delivering quality service. Experience with reefer trailers or food-grade transport is preferred. The ideal candidate communicates well, takes ownership of equipment and compliance, and looks for ways to improve processes and performance.

Job Summary:
As a PTI Van Driver, you will be responsible for safely transporting railroad crew members wherever the railroad requests. Trip length and times vary depending on railroad customer needs. Responsibilities:
Promoting and practicing safety awareness
Prioritize on time performance to meet customer needs
Pick up and drop off our customers safely to their destinations
Provide excellent customer service
Communicate timely with our Dispatch Center
Open and close all doors/hatches for the crew members
Report any defects, mechanical problems, or missing items found during vehicle inspection to your supervisor
Promote and follow all company policies and procedures
All other duties as assigned by your supervisor
