POSITION SUMMARY
Responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of guests and employees to and from the parking areas and between the resorts. Support Management in ensuring guest satisfaction, vehicle readiness, and adherence to safety and service standards.
Starting wage between $26.69/hr. - $32.03/hr. depending on experience.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES
Must be at least twenty-one (21) years of age
Have a high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Have a valid Commercial Class A, B, or C California Driver's License, with a passenger endorsement and an acceptable driving record
Current California Commercial Driver Medical Examination Certificate, and a Big Bear Mountain Resorts Commercial Passenger Transport Certificate
Demonstrated ability to lead, by example and assist in training and mentoring less experienced drivers and attendants
Minimum three (3) year of commercial passenger transport driving experience preferred
A talented communicator having a calm and collective demeanor, especially during challenging operations.
Capacity to read, understand, and comply with documents such as safety rules and procedure manuals.
Able to work flexible schedules, including second and third shifts.

Transport Driver
Owner/operator job in Murrieta, CA
The Transport Driver's loads, secures, drives, and unloads heavy equipment tractor-trailer rig to deliver and pick up rental equipment and components at customer locations, Company facilities, and suppliers.
The Transport Driver's starting wage will depend on experience and education. $22.50 - $28.00
The Transport Driver's essential duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Maintains California Class A driver's license, acceptable driving record and current medical card.
• Properly utilizes company vehicle; operates in compliance with DMV rules and regulations
• Participates in U.S. Department of Transportation drug and alcohol testing program.
• Performs basic safety and operational vehicle inspections before and after each trip.
• Performs daily / routine maintenance and / or mechanical repairs of assigned truck as skill and time allows.
• Operates a variety of equipment in order to move them on, properly secure, and remove from the trailer at destination.
• Demonstrates basic equipment operation to customers as required.
•Uses material handling equipment (pallet jack, forklift, crane, etc.) to load and unload vehicle.
•Uses road maps for efficient and timely transportation.
• Maintains proper permits, bills of lading, invoices and other forms to account for pick up and deliveries.
• Maintains accurate logbook records.
• Works flexible schedule in order to meet the needs of the Company and the customer.
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Valid California Class A Drivers License for vehicle used in performance of duties; DMV Medical Certificate; Forklift operator certification.

Truck Driver Requirements
Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience as a Commercial Driver, with Flatbed type trailers and cargo securement experience.
Lowboy, RGN, Stepdecks, and Land-All trailer experience a plus!
Valid "Class A" CDL - Passenger endorsement a plus!
Bus Driver Requirements
Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience as a Commercial Driver, with experience operating 44 passenger or greater buses.
Valid "Class B" or higher CDL, with Passenger and Air Brakes endorsements.
All Driver Requirements
Must pass background/security clearance checks, when and as required pre/post-employment.
Must be 21, and a U.S. citizen or carry a valid U.S. Immigration Alien Registration Card.
Must possess a current/valid DOT Physical Medical Certificate.
Must pass pre/post-employment drug and alcohol screenings.
Must pass on-site licensing drive test(s).
