ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Identifies issues, troubleshoot machines to produce quality parts, safely. Notify mold tech, shift lead or shift supervisor in the event of molding machine irregularities. Performs order changes: enters startup and shutdown into DelmiaWorks system. Enters all downtime reason codes into ERP for tracking. Verifies raw materials comply with work requirements. Samples and visually inspects production every 30 minutes, document quality inspections hourly, and places product on hold by entering process correction (PCR). Prepares for color changes; notifies mold tech, lead or supervisor when color change is needed. Informs supervisor/lead of substandard production quality. Checks material quality and calls for more materials if necessary. Checks that all machine sensors, cap-guides and adjustable conveyors are operating properly.
