Directs, instructs, and guides students in the clinical setting. Facilitates development of student's critical thinking, technical, and professional communication skills. Delegates selected nursing functions to students in accordance with their level of nursing education and demonstrated competency. Requirements: Current Hawaii Registered Nurse in good standing. BS in Nursing from an accredited school or equivalent. Minimum of three (3) years as a registered nurse and/or practical nurse in acute/post-acute care, rehabilitative nursing, home health, or related setting required. Ability to prioritize projects and initiate follow through with meticulous attention to detail. Effective communication skills and ability to write clearly and concisely. Dual employment with University of Hawaii Maui College will require separate application with UHMC.
