Demonstrate techniques using straight and butterfly needles. Match laboratory requisition forms to specimen tubes. Label, centrifuge, split, and freeze specimens as required by test orders. Ensure test requisitions or computer labels match scripts with 100% accuracy. Package specimens for transport and store specimen samples at the required temperatures. Place samples in appropriate collection containers or tubes, accurately label, and follow protocols necessary for maintaining the integrity of the specimen during transport.
