    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Phlebotomist to join our team in Auburn Hills. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in an outpatient setting, responsible for drawing and processing patient samples efficiently and accurately. Responsibilities + Draw patient blood samples, process them correctly, and package them appropriately, performing this task 25-30 times per day. + Communicate daily with clinic staff to organize and schedule blood draws, and arrange for the pickup and shipping of samples to the medical testing sites. Essential Skills + At least 2 Years of experience as a Phlebotomist or Medical Assistant with duties including drawing, processing, and packaging samples. + Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification or certificate. + Knowledge of the order of draw and BD Vacutainer order of draw tube colors for multiple tube collections. Additional Skills & Qualifications + High School Diploma. Work Environment The position requires a commitment to working Monday through Thursday, 8 AM to 4 PM, with a training schedule varying in Farmington (2 weeks). The worksite will be in Auburn Hills. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Auburn Hills, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr. Must be able to work Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm. Flexibility with hours is needed for clients who may start earlier or stay later than the posted hours. Confirming reports are generated by laboratory for specimens processed and facilitating inquiries to the laboratory. Thorough knowledge of all processes and will act as liaison between clinic and laboratory. Travel to client site to provide collection. Provide excellent phlebotomy skills. Required Education: High school diploma or equivalent. Medical training: medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy or Medical Assistant certification preferred. Work Experience: One year of phlebotomy or MA experience preferred.
