We are looking for an empathetic, motivated full-time TMS Technicians to provide Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatments to our patients. The most important skill is your ability to interact and engage with others in a positive and therapeutic way. TMS Technicians are also responsible for assisting in all administrative aspects of TMS treatments, including scheduling, tracking insurance authorizations, administering psychiatric rating scales, and patient charting. In between patients, technicians may be asked to complete other office tasks. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Administer TMS treatments according to specific physician protocols. Set up the TMS medical device and monitor all aspects of the treatment sessions for patient comfort and treatment accuracy. What You'll Do: Providing care for the patient population in the outpatient setting, including collaboration with physician, ordering and reviewing x-rays, performing complete histories and physical examinations on new, established, preop, and postop patients Ordering, interpreting, and evaluating laboratory and diagnostic tests Developing appropriate plans of care and follow-up based on the outcomes of diagnostic, laboratory, and physical examination findings Coordinating care along the patient's entire surgical journey (preop, postop, and recovery/rehab) Optimizing patients prior to surgery and being first assist in the OR (assisting with wound closure and various tasks between cases such as post orders and case preparation) Rounding on and discharging surgeon's inpatients and inpatient consults Prescribing medications and narcotics as necessary according to organizational and state/federal regulatory policies and procedures Assessing postop wounds and managing other needs such as DME, PT prescriptions, and medications Accurate and timely documentation of clinic visits, admission and progress notes, procedure notes, and e-mail/phone conversations On call duties as assigned (1-2 weeks per month) What Your Qualifications Should Be: Graduate from accredited Physician Assistant Program Minimum of one year experience as a Physician Assistant (Orthopedic experience preferred) Must be licensed to practice as a Physician Assistant in the state of Florida Orthopedic, clinic or hospital setting experience preferred Current CPR Basic Certification What Your Benefits Look Like: Competitive compensation with full-time benefits.
