Professional work with responsibility for planning assignments for projects in the Planning and Development Division. Reviews planning and zoning issues to ensure effective application of the Seminole County Land Development Code (SCLDC) and the Seminole County Comprehensive Plan (SCCP. Coordinates with other County Divisions with other fields of expertise during the project review process and makes suggestions to conform to the SCLDC and the SCCP. Participates in pre-application meetings, Development Review Committee (DRC) meetings, and other meetings as needed. Provides customer service to public. Researches, prepares and presents written reports regarding future land use and zoning changes, development projects, studies variances, setbacks, and special exceptions before the Board of Adjustment, the Planning and Zoning Commission and/or the Board of County Commissioners. Assists the department in achieving its mission and vision statements.

Job Summary:
Hillpointe is seeking a Land Planner to support our Pre-Development/Land Planning department. The ideal candidate is efficient, detail-oriented, and skilled in developing and maintaining workplace and vendor relationships.
