ESSENTIAL DUTIES Essential duties include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Greet and welcome service customers in a friendly and courteous manner. Protect customer vehicles by installing plastic seat and floor covers. Perform alignment checks on customer vehicles. Drive customer vehicles waiting to be serviced to numbered parking spot, write number on key tag. Retrieve customer cars from parking lot and drive it into technician service bay area. Road test vehicles to verify problem exits and that problem was repaired. Drive vehicles to different areas of the dealership as directed by management. Provide transportation for customers. Pick up and drop off fleet service account vehicles. Clear sidewalks and other areas of snow, as directed by management. Help with Pre-Delivery Inspections. Wash cars as needed. Keep work area clean. Follows all company safety policies and procedures and immediately reports any and all accidents to a manager. JOB REQUIREMENTS Must have a valid drivers license with a company acceptable driving record Adheres to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards Ability to read and comprehend instructions and information Must be able to operate both standard and automatic vehicles Ability to communicate well orally and in writing with customers, vendors and other contacts Must maintain a professional appearance Qualifications EDUCATION High School diploma or GED EXPERIENCE Previous customer service in any industry preferred PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS Walking/Standing for 6 to 8 hours in a shift Bending, stretching, lifting, reaching and climbing Lifting up to 50lbs.
