Job Overview:Manufacturing Maintenance Mechanic Columbus Facility: 950 Stelzer Road Columbus,Ohio 43219 The Maintenance Mechanic I is responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining machinery and mechanical / electrical equipment such as motors, conveyor systems, pneumatic and hydraulic systems, production machines, boilers, pumps, liquid fillers, packaging equipment, material handling equipment, bulk delivery equipment, and blending/mixing systems.
This position will primarily focus on the utilities side of maintenance.
Shift & Schedule: 3rd; 10:00PM-6:30AM - flexibility to work OT as needed Position ResponsibilitiesObserves equipment to make sure it is operating to OEM standard or production satisfaction.
Analyze mechanical, pneumatic, electrical problems and make repairs through adjustments, defective parts replacement, or fabrication.
Answers maintenance calls in a timely fashion and assists others in troubleshooting.
Performs routine PM's, repairs, rebuilds and modifications on all equipment assigned Wire moderately complex control circuits.
Performs electronic component replacement, substitution, set-up and calibration.
Fabricate, repair, and install hangers and all types of piping including hot/cold water, steam, process and condensate, utilizing formulas for all phases.
Weld various types of metals.
Machine most metals, plastics, and composites.
Fabricate or replicate minor pieces for the repair or replacement of parts on equipment.
Complete size changeovers, make adjustments, and troubleshoot liquid fillers and packaging equipment.
Identify problems and completes repairs, with minimal downtime or supervision.
Troubleshoot 3ph 480V motors and VFDs.
Completes any necessary paperwork associated with repairs or calibration.
Completes Work Orders that are assigned to them or their department.
Provides coverage and or assistance as needed throughout facility to meet production schedules and or equipment needs.
Ensures that all work activities are performed with attention to the highest standards for quality, safety and compliance with all appropriate legal and food safety requirements and a focus on continuous improvement.
Follows all company policies & procedures as well as the GMP's (Good Manufacturing Practices).
Maintains a high level of safety awareness for an accident-free work place.
Reports any unsafe or hazardous work conditions or safety-related issues to Management Total Rewards:Compensation: Pay starting at $32.

The employee will move to a higher rate of $33.

DIESEL/MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Preventative maintenance, electronic diagnosis, emissions troubleshooting and mechanical repairs on our mixed fleet light to medium, heavy-duty vehicles and vocational equipment.
Systems experience on engine, powertrain, electrical, hydraulic, LP, compressed natural gas and pneumatics, glycol, and oil-based heating systems preferred, but can be learned.
Ability to work under pressure, within deadlines, and maintain composure.
Self-starting, reliant yet able to work with and potentially coach other teammates in areas where expertise is greater.
Desire to take on new challenges and learn new processes.
Ability to accurately communicate and properly document diagnosis, solutions, and complete repairs.
REQUIREMENTS FOR MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN ROLE:
Must be willing to tear down, repair or otherwise rebuild critical components in the shop or out in the field as needed.
Must have own tools, industry specific tools will be provided.
Must have flexible schedule with availability to work weekends during peak season.
Overtime during the months from May 1st to December 1st is expected as needed.

Electrical:
